Just to be clear, I went ahead and installed another system, and just accepted the fact that I might have to wait for Qubes 4.0 before jumping in again. I tried running the installer again (created the disk from scratch, this time I torrented it, and used DD again from my new system). It allows me to fill out all steps, until I reach 'Install destination'. When I select the only disk in the machine, it says something about not being able to install to that disk, or some such, and I can't finish the process. Just out of curiousity, if I do install Qubes from the text installer, what happens when I actually boot up then? Will I even have a GUI, or will I be plunged into a TTY? Anyways, thank you very much for your time. I am not in that much of a hurry.
