[RBW] Bags for Sale

2020-02-07 Thread Andy L
Hi all,
I've tried a few different ways of carrying stuff on my bike, and am now
ready to pass along what didn't work for me- all the bags are used, most I
bought second hand, and I'm not real good at setting prices, I want to
pass them along (and scrape together enough to buy Joe's panniers), so send
an offer if you think I've overpriced something-also, I can't get the
photos to upload- sorry about that- send me an email if you are interested,
and I'll send you the pictures.
Thanks,
Andy

1. Arkel The Shopper Panniers- bought new, used but in good shape- $80
plus shipping.

2. Carradice Nelson Long Flap- bought used, still in good shape- $50 plus
shipping

3. Baggins Hobo Handlebar Bag- bought used, still in good shape- $50 plus
shipping

4. Baggins Tube Handlebar Bag- $35 plus shipping.

[RBW] Re: Crankypants & Thoughtful Responses

2018-01-07 Thread Andy L
Boy, was that nice to read- I didn't totally follow the posts that led up
to it, but I sure do appreciate the sentiment and the articulation. Also,
as someone mentioned, I appreciate the work that Jim does so that I can
read about bikes, and others can read about and discuss bikes. I feel like
a bit of a freeloader, but I don't feel like I have anything to add yet,
and I enjoy and learn from reading what others write, and it all makes
riding my quickbeam and big dummy all the more enjoyable.

[RBW] Makeshift seat attachment for a Nitto saddlebag grip?

I have one Nitto saddlebag grip and two bikes I'd like to use it with- one
has a brooks saddle, so I've been just using the saddle loops without the
grip, but it would be nice to be able to use the grip with both bikes. I
sent an email to Riv, but they don't have just the seat attachment. Any
ideas?
