RE: [Repeater-Builder] Re: R-1225
Skipp, The i20R is nothing more than a no-frills 10-user community tone panel. It works as advertised, except that it neither generates nor responds to reverse burst squelch-tail elimination phase shifts, which the single-user R1225 controller does well. Neither it nor the R1225 built-in controller has telephone interconnect. 73, Eric Lemmon WB6FLY -Original Message- From: Repeater-Builder@yahoogroups.com [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of skipp025 Sent: Sunday, December 25, 2005 8:10 PM To: Repeater-Builder@yahoogroups.com Subject: [Repeater-Builder] Re: R-1225 The I20R acts like a community repeater tone panel. [Repeater-Builder] Re: Motorola HLD 4051A / 4052A and TRN 5080A
The mentioned Motorola MSR-2000 HLD Rreamp slides into a special slot/space within the pre-selector cavity/body. Sometimes it's nice to have the one that fits exact. One could make a small drop in preamp to fit in the msr spot, but I'd have to go back throught check the input and output impedances to see if the preselector supplies 50 ohms in and out. Working from memory... one need only swap pins 2 & 3 to make the Micor and MSR-2000 metering units interchange. I installed a spdt toggle switch in a metering box and now use it for both type repeaters. cheers, skipp > Mike Morris <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > For preamps go to Chip Angle at Anglelinear > (www.anglelinear.com) > The micor base station test set can be modified > for the MSR, it's a few wires that need moving > around. Re: [Repeater-Builder] MSF5000 & RF Millivolt Meter Help
Ok, got things a little more stable now, and here is what I did, tell me if it sounds correct. Starting with the Post FIlter, I inserted a signal of 442.000, which is the tx of the repeater, into J10 of 0 dBm. I adjusted L18 for a peak on the -30 dBm scale of the RF millivolt meter. I then adjusted L17 for a dip, which went to 0 Millivollts. I moved the probe to J17 and adjusted L16 for a dip, same results at 0 millivolts, then moved the probe to J16, and adjusted L15 for a dip, which went around 150 Millivolts. I followed the same procedure for the Prefilter as well, getting nearly the same results along the process. Mathew "Bob M." <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: First, make sure the meter gives you a stable readingwhen connected to just the sig gen. This also givesyou a chance to check the calibration. [Repeater-Builder] Motorola HLD 4051A / 4052A and TRN 5080A
I'm needing an HLD 4051A receiver preamp for an MSR 2000 VHF Base/Repeater station. Would settle for a HLD 4052A, but, prefer the 4051 if possible. Would also like to obtain a TRN 5080A DC Metering Chassis Set for this animal. Anyone have any of these they would part with?? Thanks, Mike N9WZX Yahoo!
