But, my God, imagine how poor ole weary, banged up Brodie Croyle, and his parents, feel. Or any member of our team. My God people, you had 2 SEC rival teams go in play their freakin hearts out tonight, 4 overtimes worth MY Alabama Crimson Tide played hard, played a GREAT game. Any thing less than great would NOT have produced the scores that I witnessed tonight, much less 4 OVERTIMES. Bama is in the process of enduring an exasperating 2003 season. All of us feel it. The team, it's coaching staff, fans, etc. BUT, we'll ALL get through it together, be stronger, wiser, more proud than ever, ready to raise ever loving hell in 2004!! You know why? Howard and I are in the same boat - We both use MSNTV (aka WEBTV) and we have very limited Email storage which is why I elected to receive the Digest! Way back, my mailbox would fill up constantly w/ mail from 2 or 3 boards and I would miss a bunch of other mail because it was returned to sender. I must have missed the post where Slef pointed a finger at CMS. CMS didn't have a damn thing to do with hiring any of his defensive staff. He is right, coaching decisions cost us the game. Which coach? Joe Kines, Chris Ball, Bob Connelly, Dave Ungerer? None have been impressive. No talent? Possibly in Chris Ball's case. Our coaching staff showed the lack of faith they have in the offense by calling the punt. UT had used all their time outs and getting the first down would have finished the game. If they were worried about Croyle being injured, put in Alvaros, or anyone. There is no excuse for a team not being able to pick up two inches as shown by UT on the goal line. Just the QB taking the snap and falling down will pick that up. I hope the players got the message that the coaches sent...we don't think you'll get it, better not risk it. Hate it for Bostick...twice this season he's had the opportunity to win it only to have something go wrong in the try.
