Assalamo alaykom, No one own Sabily brother Meorbu :) it's the community Sabily that own the project, so if there is no community the project is dead! For me I was a coordinator of the project with brother Mehdi (who launched it on 2007), after a while me and Mehdi we haven't the time to maintain the project and we wait that new generation take this responsibility from us but without success. Mehdi had left the project their is one year ago, for me I supported and I will support Sabily but not with the same way as before, in fact I find another way to support Al-Umma technologically by launching my own startup their is more than two years and until it did well in Tunisia and I hope soon outside Tunisia, and this startup take the whole of my time (it take also the time of my family), so I can't be active with Sabily as before, but I am always with you. Salem Alaykom, I have noticed and didn't found a way to help. I suggest that the teams Sabily, Sajadah and Helal try to create an only one team so that the efforts concentrate on a project. I think we should have an Islamic distribution. The idea of Sabily/BlankOn and probably Helal (just knew about it from this thread), is to provide muslim users with a distribution that by default contains software they are interested in. Part of our work was developing (and packaging already available) apps. that are of interest to us, and making those packages available in Ubuntu/Debian repositories. Well, in Helal Linux we have the same problem (Helal is an Islamic distribution as well, based on Ubuntu), no one is interested, no support.. and the project stopped. Maybe we can all collaborate to create an Islamic OS or something.
