Required Skills:
•The individual must be self-motivated, resourceful, and articulate.
•The Project Coordinator must possess a clear sense of accountability
and must be able to exercise independent judgment, and render sound
business decisions.
•A BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, with
minimum of 3 years working as a project coordinator, or minimum of 8 years
of experience in IT project coordination and management.
•Project Management experience, including working on large
multi-million dollar projects, is required.
•Experience with multiple large projects, vendor contract agreements,
monthly progress reporting, and jobs reporting are required.
•Experience with compliance related matters, such as procurement
activities, sub-awardee and vendor flow down provisions, property tracking,
equipment disposition, and records retention is required.
•Strong leadership skills and excellent oral and written communication
skills are required.
•Individual must have a proven track record of relationship building
skills, and be able to successfully lead multi-discipline meetings.
•Must be well organized, detail oriented, flexible to handle multiple
assignments and projects, and able to meet deadlines.
•Demonstrated experience in project management and technical writing is
required.
•Fundamental knowledge of electrical principals, and the potential
impact of various technological, and process enhancements on the electric
utility business is preferred.
•Exposure to the public forums such as town208 hall meetings is
preferred.
•Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel,
and PowerPoint is required.
Job Description:
The Project Coordinator will directly report to the Manager of CCATT or his
designee, and will be responsible for ensuring that CCATT projects are
implemented in accordance with their schedules. The Project Coordinator
will coordinate the efforts among CCATT team members, and outside
organizations, to ensure resources are allocated efficiently to meet
project timelines. The Project Coordinator will work with project
stakeholders and owners to help prioritize work and projects, and address
resource conflicts before, and as they arise. In doing so, the Project
Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring that the administration of the
project (e.g.- procurement, timekeeping, property tracking, and records
retention), as well as the corporate reporting requirements of the project,
if any, are completed successfully in accordance with a detailed project
implementation plan, and schedule.
•Responsible for acting as a point liaison between the project team and
various Company Departments as well as other consultants, sub awardees, and
vendors who provide services, as necessary.
•Shall conduct meetings to coordinate CCATT project efforts.
•Required to interface with Auditing, Purchasing, Cost Management,
Distribution Engineering, Electric Operations, and Information Resources to
ensure that administrative and technical matters are resolved in a timely
manner.
•Responsible for the preparation and maintenance of records required
for the project and shall ensure that records, including compliance related
reference materials, are kept current and available.
•Shall serve as a point contact between CCATT and our company Auditing
department, and shall support CCATT during audits.
•Shall follow-up and ensure timely execution of compliance related
matters that may result from the compliance reviews.
•Shall be cognizant of budget compliance, and must ensure that costs
are minimized through savings in time, materials, and proper work
procedures.
•Shall also be responsible for writing technical reports, and preparing
technical presentations for all levels of Company management, as well as
outside entities, as necessary.

The selected candidate will be involved in the Financial Management Project
as the direct assistant to the Project Manager
Job Description Project assistants support project managers in balancing
the time, money and scope of a particular project. They handle
administrative tasks such as scheduling and recording meetings, in addition
to assembling and disseminating information. However, project assistants
may also perform project management duties when necessary. Time management
and organizational skills allow project assistants to help project managers
stay on track, to make sure that deadlines are being met. Adaptability and
stress management are project assistant skills needed to handle the many
unknowns that accompany any project. Project assistants need good computer
technology skills including: creating spreadsheets and using
word-processing programs, in addition to being proficient in using
project-planning software. Math skills are needed to help project managers
create and manage budgets and perform cost estimations. The project
assistant plays a crucial role in deciding which communication method is
preferred by the stakeholders and the desired times and frequency, and
ensuring that communication meets those guidelines. The importance of
leadership and problem-solving skills cannot be overestimated. When the
project manager is not available, the project assistant may assume some of
the project responsibilities. The ability to take charge when necessary and
also evaluate situations and determine the proper course of action is one
of the best qualities that a project assistant can possess.

This includes designing and integrating project activities, creating
presentations, creating and managing timelines for projects and creating
detailed status reports.
Knowledge of basic project management methodology and tools, including
scheduling, status reports, budgets, and cost estimates.
Skilled at being a liaison between vendors, functional offices and
information technology professionals.
Ability to create and maintain technical and non-technical project
materials.
Ability to utilize available reference resources to obtain information
necessary to perform assigned tasks.
Ability to transform user requests into technical specifications.
Knowledge of the principles, methods and/or tools for coordinating projects
and resources.
Skilled in writing technical and non-technical project materials including
presentations, timelines and status reports.
Skills in building and maintaining interpersonal relationships.
Ability to relate to customers’ needs and perform duties in a service
oriented manner
Ability to use office automation tools (MS Office 2007, SharePoint 2010,
Email/Calendaring, etc.)
Ability to provide proactive support to both the IT project team members
and Functional team members
Ability to create and maintain SharePoint sites using SharePoint 2010 for
project documentation, office automation tasks, workflow, etc.
Ability to develop and manage information systems documentation in
accordance with the Department’s standards
Ability to independently plan, organize, coordinate and prioritize work
assignments
Ability to interpret and communicate technical information both verbally
and in writing
Must be able to perform QA reviews and provide valuable feedback in
determining that standards are met and that documents are complete and
comprehensive.
