This follows an EU directive demanding that only ingredients on a restricted EU 'approved list' be sold. Here, ANGELA EPSTEIN highlights the most popular vitamins and minerals which will be affected. BORON Product facing ban: Biocare Osteoplex. TRACE mineral needed for absorption of calcium. Deficiency has been linked to osteoporosis and arthritis. Boron is also believed to stimulate electrical activity in the brain, increasing mental alertness. Natural sources: Grapes, nuts, pears, beer. VITAMIN E Facing ban: Biocare Tocotrienol Plus. AN antioxidant which protects against damage by the free radicals associated with degenerative diseases. Vitamin E consists of a number of related compounds called tocopherols and tocotrienols. Naturally occurring versions of these compounds are to be banned. Natural sources:Wheat germ oil, sunflower seeds, hazelnuts, peanuts. CALCIUM Facing ban: Solgar Advanced Calcium Complex capsules. CALCIUM works with vitamin D and is needed to build bones and teeth, and for cell function. Helps regulate heartbeat. I would like to encourage Brooks Bradley to go ahead and post any additional information on Rosa Rugosa and any other information that might be useful if the Codex Alimentarius is enacted. Please go ahead and post it to the list instead of the O.T. list or privately. That way there will be some searchable information in the archives for future use, should anyone decide later that they should have followed up on this. Also, I wonder if Brook's recommendation on the seaweed product, marketed for animal and plant use, would be a good mineral supplement to keep in mind. Thirdly, I would like to say, Mike Monett! You whet our appetites with comments about a new way to make/use colloidal silver and then you go away and are silent for weeks! How about some sort of vague summary or something to assuage our anticipation? Dan -- The Silver List is a moderated forum for discussing Colloidal Silver. You whet our appetites with comments about a new way to make/use colloidal silver and then you go away and are silent for weeks! How about some sort of vague summary or something to assuage our anticipation? Dan Hi Dan, Yes, I'm very sorry I have not been able to post info on the new process. I have been suffering from terrible mold headaches and have to find the cause and figure out a solution. However, I can tell you this much: 1. The process is very simple. 2. It can be much faster than regular cs, providing you have sufficient voltage available and can control it. 3. It can be scaled up to produce industrial quantities. You could easily make 1,000 litres per hour, if you had a source of dw and a way to package the resulting solution. 3. It can be produced manually or under computer control. 4. The ion concentration is much higher than previously available. 5. The resulting ion concentration is much more repeatable than current methods. 6. Unlike conventional methods that are sensitive to the shape of the electrodes, the new method is insensitive to sharp corners. 7. There is little or no oxide production. 8. Most cs generators in use can be upgraded to use the new process at little or no cost. 9. It is not compatible with polarity switching. 10. It is not compatible with any methods that use AC. I hope to be able to do some work tonight on it, and with luck post some info in the next few days. Unfortunately, the headaches are a show-stopper and I cannot make any promises. But this is my highest priority right now. Best Wishes, Mike Monett -- The Silver List is a moderated forum for discussing Colloidal Silver. Hi Jonathan, Louise uses a German Vegatest machine. Actually, she uses one of the old models versus the newer models which are computerized. I believe that she was able to acquire some of the strains of Mycoplasma. I can't really tell you more because I don't completely understand the process, other than to know that she had a unique training and has awesome results with healing. Thanks, Sandy, I am familiar with this instrument and would like to learn how to use it, despite its prohibitive price. Someday I hope to find a very cheap one. It is based on resonance I believe.
