Yes, actually...I've had anywhere from 2 weeks to 2 months of cold
sensitivity as each filling was changed out. I assumed it was normal since
I had the same thing back when I got the amalgams in the first place. My
dentist's explanation was that live nerves were exposed when the amalgam
was removed the pit was cleaned, so sensitivity is normal depending on
the nerve exposure/contact. All has since subsided for me though...my
composites look act like nothing ever took place. Love them.

Re: CSAutism and EFT

2005-11-05 Thread Hurd's Cornstoves
Dr Mercola has a free section to learn about EFT - Emotional Freedom Technique.
It has to do with finger tapping on pressure points and saying affirmations
(drastically simplified explanation).
Simple and supposedly effective.
There are some EFT therapists who can transfer the effects to other bodies -
both human and pets.
There are group clinics where interesting beneficial effects reportedly occur.

I printed a few free pages about EFT and plan to sit down and try the therapy.
I have NOT tried this therapy.
I'll let y'all know if I think it's worth a grain of salt.
I'm a Christian, so I want to have my affirmations more related to my
relationship with the Almighty and my purpose for being here and now.
It's worth looking at. There are many testimonials to the positive.
http://www.mercola.com/forms/eftcourse.htm site for EFT therapy.

I'm so sorry to hear about this latest case of autism - which is likely the
effect of vaccines.
15-20 years ago, there was a large amount of autism in boys around St. Paul, MN.
My brother's 2 sons are both not normal.
One is 6'3 and nearly 21. What a handful!
The younger is around 16 and worse. Brilliant but crazy.
This syndrome also manifested in my brother's wife's family.
Her brother's son was such a problem! Not retarded, but just out-of-control.
My brother's middle daughter was somewhat normal, but possibly over-developed.
At 12, she was 6' and very curvaceous and advanced for her age.
They've had many problems as a family.
My brother thought he was bi-polar and later got into drugs from back surgeries.
He became a crack addict (with a MBA degree and family!).
He's recovering, away from his wife and family.
This is so sad because these are good people.
To have their sons born idiots is so difficult to live with.
Now a new baby girl was born to my youngest brother's wife a few days ago.
I shudder to think of what the drs might do to my little niece, Grace Katherine
with the red, curly hair.

BTW- Hey, can someone tell me what EIS and DW mean?
I'm new here and struggling to keep up.
I've been kind of ill and had surgery, so it's not as easy to figure everything
out.
Thank you all and Blessings,
Mary

Re: CSAutism

2005-11-05 Thread Grace1way
Yes, I do know of an effective cure for autism.

Check out Nambudripad Allergy Elimination Technique, _www.naet.com_
(http://www.naet.com) . Get the book, SAY GOOD-BYE TO ALLERGY-RELATED AUTISM.

This technique desensitizes the allergies permanently. An allergy is
anything breathed, injected, eaten, touched, drank which blocks effective flow
to
the acupuncture energy flows. In the case of autism, I believe the main
allergen is the mercury preservative in vaccines.

I have been taking these treatments, and have personally witnessed that the
autistic kids who are treated do recover. Their behavior becomes acceptable,
they spontaneously begin to speak again, and in one case a 27-year-old
autistic man who was also blind and mute recovered completely. The NAET
clinic
was recently doing a study in conjunction with the University of California, Lo
s Angeles, medical center autistic program. When they saw that NAET
eliminated autism, there was political infighting, and the joint project was
terminated before it could be completed.

This is not a self-help procedure, unfortunately. It requires expertise
from a trained NAET practitioner.

Sincerely,

Jill

P.S. Don't take my word for this. If you have an autistic child, or know
of one you would like to help, have the parent e-mail me privately at
_grace1...@aol.com_ (mailto:grace1...@aol.com) . I will ask for the phone
numbers of
parents who have had their kids successfully treated at the clinic where I
go and let you contact the parents yourself. These parents drive as much as
ten hours each way per week to have their child treated. Some have moved to
southern California from the East Coast to have their child treated. When
there is a treatment that works, compared with the alternative, I don't see
that
there is a reasonable choice about what to do for the child.

2005-11-05 Thread patriot2000

There is a world famous Autism Center in San Diego, founded several
decades ago by Dr. Bernard Rimland, whose own son was autistic.
Search engines will all bring this up. I used Ask Jeeves.
They provide a great deal of information and support to parents, do
research, etc.

http://www.autismwebsite.com/ari/index.htm
They can give you questionnaires about the child's functioning, then
interpret that information and provide other help. You will
find a lot of information about their ongoing research into causes of
autism, such as vaccinations, and how to deal with it -- diet
modification, behavioral training, and chelation, etc.
The autistic grandson of a friend has been helped a great deal by
diet changes. Autistic kids are particularly sensitive to foods
such as wheat and milk, and elimination of these and other foods can make
a world of difference.
www.tinsnips.com
is a website for parents and teachers of autistic children -- lots of
information and helpful links there!
The rise of incidence is appalling. When I was in grad school in
1970, I had heard of autism only as a very rare disorder, thought to be
caused by inadequate, cold mothers. (That'll teach us to listen to
shrinks!) As a school psychologist, I saw my first case of it
in 1982. Once seen only about once in 10,000, the incidence rate is
now something like 1 in 180. Read the articles on vaccination and
autism and draw your own conclusions!
Good luck. God bless!
Marlys

Hi Jill,

Here is sol's reply to the questions about proportion, strenth, and where to
get it...

I am somewhat sensitive to DMSO so I keep it weak.
I have read here (I believe Richard Harris said it) that DMSO is
effective at even 2 % added to EIS.

For topical herpes cold sore treatment my husband uses a mix of about
half and half DMSO/EIS. (the DMSO we use is 99.9% pure veterinary grade,
looks like the brand sold at www.jeffersequine.com, but I can get it
locally).
For my eye and nose drops, I use a one ounce dropper bottle, and put in
one whole dropper of DMSO, and fill with EIS. I have been thinking of
adding two droppersful DMSO but haven't tried that yet.

For nebulizing I use 1 oz EIS (mine is around 12-15 ppm)- 1/2 to 1
teaspoon pure MSM crystals (Opti-msm)- and 5 drops of DMSO. This is for
my chronic URI pet rabbit, and it is used for ear drops as well (but NOT
for eyes--the MSM doesn't hurt eyes, but it stings like the devil--when
I used it in my rabbit's eye without testing it on me first is when he
bit through my thumbnail, I had it coming!). Since he gets nebulized on
a regular basis, I always have it made up, so I just use the same stuff
for us humans. But if it was only for humans, one could add more DMSO,
according to tolerance.

I'm trying to use a mouthwash (I swish and hold as long as I can stand
it) of 10% DMSO and 90% EIS for my root-canal teeth, but am finding it
*very* difficult to use even once a day, as it is really foul. Doesn't
bother my husband though: he used it for weeks twice or more a day, for
a possible abscess.

I don't really measure anything anymore except the recipe for my bunny.
For us humans, for soaks, mouthwashes, or whatever, I just ballpark the
porportions of DMSO to EIS.

When my cat sprained a toe I wetted it with the 10% DMSO to EIS. He
didn't like it being dipped, so I just soaked a cotton ball in the mix
and dabbed it on until the toe was wet to the skin. I only mention this
because the vet wanted to put him on preventive antibiotics for it,
because she said this kind of injury in cats often gets
abscessed/infected. He healed up fine without them, with just the
EIS/DMSO treatment.

Did I forget anything?

Rapid Eye Technology was developed over 20 years ago because the person had
an autistic child. It is also a very effective way with working with autism
and many other problems. I took the training in June, and the improvement
in my own life alone has been incredible. You can read more about it on
http://www.rapideyetechnology.com The VA has also approved it for PSTD
treatment for veterans.

The Emotional Freedom Technique DOES work. It is something people can learn
and implement themselves. Rapid Eye takes things further and clears the
body at deeper levels of the neuro pathways.

The Food Allergy Cure by Dr. Ellen Cutler describes and illustrates the
Nambudripad technique, basically. You can do this to yourself or have a
friend help you. It is not quite as effective as if you pay $50 a pop to
have one allergy elminated at a time, but it will lessen the symptoms. And
you can redo the technique as many times as you need to as you learn what
works and what doesn't.

The human body is very complex. From what I've seen, healing can be
approached from either the physical standpoint or the finer aspects of the
emotional distortion. Clearing things at the emotional level usually has a
longer lasting effect but is generally more work.

Since it has been recently shown that our thoughts change our DNA, our good
health resides within us.

I am enjoying this list, but still cannot get the jist of Colloidal Silver
and it's creation. The technical things just go over my head. Is there a
reliable machine I can just purchase? And can a person use silver coins to
make the juice? Thank you, Laurie

Yes, I do know of an effective cure for autism.

Check out Nambudripad Allergy Elimination Technique, www.naet.com. Get the
book, SAY GOOD-BYE TO ALLERGY-RELATED AUTISM.

This technique desensitizes the allergies permanently. An allergy is
anything breathed, injected, eaten, touched, drank which blocks effective
flow to the acupuncture energy flows. In the case of autism, I believe the
main allergen is the mercury preservative in vaccines.

I have been taking these treatments, and have personally witnessed that the
autistic kids who are treated do recover. Their behavior becomes acceptable
they spontaneously begin to speak again, and in one case a 27-year-old
autistic man who was also blind and mute recovered completely. The NAET
clinic was recently doing a study in conjunction with the University of
California, Los Angeles, medical center autistic program. When they saw
that NAET eliminated autism, there was political infighting, and the joint
project was terminated before it could be completed.

This is not a self-help procedure, unfortunately. It requires expertise
from a trained NAET practitioner.

Sincerely,

Jill

P.S. Don't take my word for this. If you have an autistic child, or know
of one you would like to help, have the parent e-mail me privately at
grace1...@aol.com. I will ask for the phone numbers of parents who have had
their kids successfully treated at the clinic where I go and let you contact
the parents yourself. These parents drive as much as ten hours each way per
week to have their child treated. Some have moved to southern California
from the East Coast to have their child treated. When there is a treatment
that works, compared with the alternative, I don't see that there is a
reasonable choice about what to do for the child.

Hi Jill,

You may find DMSO at some health food stores, or at a vet supply. Generally the
DMSO is genrally rated as 99% pure and 90% by volume. There is one health food
store that carries it, I believe that it is Wild Oats.

Most of us use 10% DMSO and 90% Silver solution of any PPM. you can go to 15%
DMSO but Its not needed.

Magnetic Stimulation May Speed Stroke Rehab
New Therapy May Improve Movement and Stroke Recovery
By Jennifer Warner
WebMD Medical News Reviewed By Brunilda Nazario, MD
on Friday, November 05, 2004 Nov. 5, 2004 -- A new therapy that uses magnetic
pulses to stimulate the brain may help restore lost function after a stroke and
speed recovery, a new study suggests.
Researchers found the therapy, known as repetitive transcranial magnetic
stimulation, improved motor function and brain function in a small group of
stroke patients.
In transcranial magnetic stimulation, an insulated wire coil is placed on the
scalp. A brief electrical current is passed through the coil, creating a
magnetic pulse that stimulates the outer part of the brain, called the cortex.
This may cause muscle, hand or arm twitching if the coil is near the part of
the brain that controls movement, or it may affect reflexes.
This repetitive magnetic stimulation of the brain is thought to help the brain
recover more quickly after a stroke.
New Tool for Stroke Recovery
In the study, researchers evaluated the effects of the therapy on 10 stoke
patients with paralysis over half of their body.
All of the patients were relearning to use their paralyzed hand and were told
to push a button when they saw numbers flash on a computer screen.
Half of the patients received transcranial magnetic stimulation and the other
half received a sham stimulation treatment without magnetic pulses.
The results showed that those who received the magnetic stimulation performed
better and had quicker reaction times than those who received the sham
treatment.
Researchers presented the results today at the annual meeting of the American
Association of Electrodiagnostic Medicine in Savannah, Georgia.
Researchers say that if future studies confirm these results in a larger number
of patients, this type of repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation may
become a valuable tool in restoring lost movement and improving stroke recovery.
