As ticks and Lyme is up for discussion again, I am posting part of a
Daddybob experience and opinion that sounds like very valuable regime
and
first aid advice to me. Daddybob had one of his daughters completely
cured
of Lyme within a year using the Salt/C protocol, and not too long ago
his
other daughter found a tick embedded in her skin.

This is part of his report:

The first thing I did was to get a half teaspoon of RealSalt into her.
We
  had taken
our MKBD along with us (for you who have not run into the term, it is a
form
of the Energy Pulser and may be considered to be a very simple form of a
MWO[=multi wave oscillator, I think - R.]) It is very powerful so we
don't overuse it, and I had her to expose the
bite area to the device for 2 minutes.

We all went back to bed but my mind was good and switched on by this
time.
For those of you who don't know, we've already dealt with and beaten
Lyme in
our daughter Emma by using the Salt/C protocol and the MKBD. But now
that I
had direct knowledge of the exact time of the bite in this case, I was
determined to do more about it immediately somehow.

I didn't get my answer until I had some more sleep, but Sunday morning
here's what we did. I knew Mom had some DMSO. I looked up the molecular
weight of sodium chloride on the internet and found it to be about 53,
which
is well under the 1000 threshold for DMSO to carry substances through
the
skin. I had Bonnie to mix table salt into it until it dissolved but kept
it
thick. We did not use RealSalt because I wanted as pure sodium chloride
for
this as I could get right then.

I had her to rub the wound with this mixture about 4 times before we
left in
the early afternoon. The idea is to get salt right in there early to
kill
  any microorganims, bacterial or parasitical.

From our early days of treating Emma's Lyme, I had bought some USP
Sodium
Chloride tablets. If I'd had these with me that's what I would've used.
From
now on, a bottle of them will travel in my toiletry bag, and a small
bottle
of DMSO also. Ticks are rampant these days. I could go on about why I
think
there are so many more now but the important thing is to know that they
are
  everywhere now.

Hope this proves valuable for someone - Rowena in Australia

Hope you don't mind, Daddybob, but this information is too valuable to
let
it get lost or forgotten. - R

Re: CSArthritis is all gone!!

2007-09-01 Thread M. G. Devour
Excellent, Marshalee. Thanks for the details, I'm sure others are
interested.

It is just so pleasing to hear of your success. It's lifted my spirits.

Peace!

Mike D.

 Hi, Mike!
It was probably osteo; I never saw a doc for it, as the only
arthritis doc here that takes Medicaid had a one year waiting time to
see him!!! Forget that... The CMO was Duoflex brand. The cream has MSM
and vitamin E in it as well. I also took glucosamine and MSM capsules,
but haven`t taken any of them for several months now.

I`m now taking a balanced preparation of calcium and magnesium
orotate in a capsule, and darned if my bone spurs in the feet aren`t
 disappearing!!

 Marshalee

Marshalee! That is just FANTABULOUS news! Thank you so much for
  letting us know.

  Was it rheumatoid or osteoarthritis?

Where did you buy your CMO from? What brand?

  Dear Friends,
I just wanted to tell you that, thanks to a fellow on this list who
told me about CMO, my arthritis is now gone. I have absolutely no
pain, even though I still have the nodes on both small fingers. None
of the other fingers are affected, and all my joints, even the
knees and hips, no longer bother me! I haven`t tried the borax, even
though I bought some. One course of CMO that I got through the
Internet did the trick! Hugs to you all! Marshalee

Just to anticipate a few questions: CMO stands for cetyl myristoleate,
which you can read a lot about via Google.

Unlike the popular glucosamine and chondroitin, that can give some
pain relief and improved range of motion as long as you continue to
take them, CMO apparently helps the body to begin rebuilding cartilage
in arthritic joints, allowing for long term improvement after only one
or two brief courses of the supplement.

PS, a month ago I got lazy and didn`t take my CS. I got a UTI
  that was
horrendous! Was like peeing barb wire! Ouchy! Made some fresh CS,
and 2 days later, it was all better! That`ll larn me!

We've all gotten lazy from time to time. It always seems to catch up
  with us!!! grin

  Be well!

Re: CSRe: MLM, MMS, and ........ the Chase

2007-09-01 Thread Ode Coyote

To be a little more specific:

You CAN make Chlorine Compounds and gases by running electricity through
salt water, and I did in fact mention that possibility.
[Specifically] Vitamin O ***could*** be similar to MMS, but the FTC lab
not detecting such would be a far stretch of the imagination. Sodium
Chlorite or Chlorate is a pretty far cry from salt.
The odds are good that Vitamin O is not similar to MMS..or..the FTC is
unbelievably out to lunch.

Scam, wins the odds game in my book.

Stabilized Oxygen is not a very specific term.
It lumps different things together like the term colloidal silver gets
used to lump different things together...hence the coined EIS

..makes it tough to sort through the miracles

What *MMS* Miracle Mineral Supplement [aka SCD ] has to do with Mineral
Supplementation is beyond me. [FDA dodge maybe ]
I'm not finding anything where the FTC [or FDA for that matter ] has
attacked Miracle Mineral Supplement, but they might get around to it as a
mislabel if they ever sell 200 million dollars worth of product like the
Vitamin O people have.
Big bucks get big attention. Scam another story, generally under the
heading of secrecy and ad copy that says absolutely nothing.

To MMS credit, they aren't hiding what it is [If you look just behind
the name, that is]

Pretty darned straight up, even if it doesn't work.
At least, if you burn your tongue off, you know where to go with it.
[exaggeration]

stabilized chlorine dioxide (SCD)...aka MMS Still a misnomer, but is
a better label ... has an established reputation of sorts.
Mr Humble didn't invent it. [I don't recall seeing that specific
claim] He used it in a different than accepted application.
If it kills Malaria parasites etcand not the people, good for
him...and them.

 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chlorine_dioxide
Sodium chlorate
(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SodiumNahttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ChlorineClhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OxygenO3)
is an http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oxidizing_agentoxidizing agent. It is
mostly used to produce
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chlorine_dioxidechlorine dioxide for
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bleachbleaching
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paper_pulppaper pulp, but is also used as a
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Herbicideherbicide and to prepare other
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chloratechlorates. [like roundup and yes,
agent orange, agent white etc]
It is synthesized from the
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electrolysiselectrolysis of hot sodium
chloride solution in a mixed electrode tank.

Sodium *chlorite* NaClO2 is derived indirectly from
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sodium_chloratesodium chlorate, NaClO3.
First, the explosively unstable gas
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chlorine_dioxidechlorine dioxide, ClO2 is
produced by reducing sodium chlorate in a strong acid solution with a
suitable reducing agent (for example, sodium chloride, sulfur dioxide, or
hydrochloric acid). The
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chlorine_dioxidechlorine dioxide is then
absorbed into an alkaline solution and reduced with
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hydrogen_peroxidehydrogen peroxide, H2O2
yielding sodium chlorite.

Chlorine dioxide is a
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chemical_compoundchemical compound with the
formula ClO2. This greenish-yellow http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gasgas
crystallizes as orange crystals at 59 °C. As one of several
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oxideoxides of
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chlorinechlorine, it is a potent and useful
oxidizing agent used in water treatment and in bleaching.

A number of products are marketed as stabilized chlorine dioxide (SCD).
These are not actually solutions of chlorine dioxide but solutions of
buffered *sodium chlorite*. A weak acid [like vinegar] can be added to SCD
to activate it and make chlorine dioxide in-situ without a chlorine
dioxide generator. The use of SCD is effective when the demand for chlorine
dioxide is low and when impurities, such as small amounts of chlorine, can
be tolerated.

Stabilized chlorine dioxide can also be used in an oral rinse to treat oral
disease and malodor.

## It is, however, mildly toxic..but then, so is beer. What does mildly
mean? [That could be important ]

In comparison:
Malaria is not mild by any means.

If the FTC looks at MMS and finds SCD, they just might decide to not pick
nits. The relationship is right behind an unlocked door with a big PDF
knob on it that sez Open me.
If they look at Stabilized Oxygen [Vitamin O ] and find salt water
behind an ad copy vault? Could be more than just nits.

CSAn interview with Chlorine Dioxide

2007-09-01 Thread Ode Coyote

http://www.chemistry.org/portal/a/c/s/1/feature_ent.html?id=4c5e5bc6f63311d5f4696ed9fe800100

An Interview with Chlorine Dioxide
Chlorine dioxide has been prominent in the news recently for its role
helping rid Senator Tom Daschle's office and the air ducts in the Hart
Senate Office Building of anthrax spores. This week (December 10, 2001) we
sat down for an exclusive interview with this previously obscure chemical.

KM- When you heard that Senator Daschle's office was going to have to be
fumigated, did you think you would get the gig?

ClO2- Well, I guess the EPA might have considered a few other oxidizing
agents: ozone, hypochlorites (my cousins), or peroxyacetic acid. We're all
in the union, but for fumigation (gas-phase) applications, I guess I have
the right combination of qualities. I'm a gas at room temperature. As I
said, I'm easily generated, and my antimicrobial activity is very rapid.
They might have gone with ozone, but she's a bit too reactive, and they
thought she might destroy vital equipment or papers. The EPA actually
tested me in a sealed trailer before they decided to use me. I am proud to
say that I was effective without destroying any of the computers or papers.

KM- Any last words?

ClO2- Yes, I want to emphasize that I am a chemical, and I am proud of it!
As a matter of fact, I am a moderately toxic chemical. As such, I sometimes
suffer from the misconceptions and prejudices that people have of me. I
feel privileged to have the opportunity to serve so publicly in the service
of humanity. Thank you.

The FDA needs to get the out of the Pharms pocket.
The problem is: If the Pharm doesn't finance all their own testing as
required by the FDA like they do now, who will finance the FDA doing the
testing like they should be?

That would be the tax payer who doesn't want to foot the bill, as though,
they already aren't.

If the taxpayers suddenly realizes they ARE footing the bill..and then
some, then Alt Med gets a prayer of going legit.
Product testing will suddenly be affordable, but the number of tests will
skyrocket, thus, so will the bill.
Right now, Alt Med has an advantage of sorts. It can put just about any
BS out there with a disclaimer, so long as they don't make any claims.
It's a blind eye the FDA gives themselves and they use it, unless
somebody pokes their finger into it and grabs their attention.

Going legit would toss a whole bunch of kook-ies into the cutter.

..careful what you wish for, ey?

On the other side of the coin would be the Alt Patient.
Some common sense, dogged research and a lot of personal discrimination
is what that takes.
But who is left to sue when common sense is so..not common, and dogged
means to bark at somebody without discrimination?

Gulianni cleaned up NYC, but it lost a lot of it's illicit flavor in the

CSRe: Stabilized Oxygen

2007-09-01 Thread Simon Jester
There are two known ways to increase tissue/blood oxygenation levels
-

hyperbaric oxygen therapy, and ozone therapy.

Some alternative type MDs have been advocating a method with the
fancy name of EWOT (Exercise With Oxygen Therapy) which is merely
breathing an increased concentration of oxygen while doing some form
of light exercise such as treadmill or stationary bicycle, and
indicate that it is very effective in getting extra oxygen into the
body.

It only works if your blood oxygen levels are already low - ie, below
normal...

It will not significantly increase blood oxygen content of a normal
healthy individual... but I will concede that it may raise them
*slightly*...

Re: CSMMS again, to Marshall

2007-09-01 Thread Carol Ann
What ever it isI would not again take the 15 drops bottle recommended as
I did for my first dose. YUK!

To me, very powerful stuff, felt just a tad nasuaus and off center, and very
acidic on my stomach.Which was empty at the time. Ate food which didn't
help much. A half a glass of milk about an hour later gave some relief.

Next dose, depending on how this one goes, how long the yuk affects linger, .
1-3 drops, then some apple juice followed perhaps by some yogyuart or a glass
of milk.

Marshall Dudley mdud...@king-cart.com wrote: Jonathan B. Britten wrote:
This summary is what was needed. Thanks for that, Mike. The pdf is
 rather long-winded.

A key point is that the claimed function is oxidative destruction
-- by chlorine dioxide -- of all pathogens with no damage to healthy
tissue. H202 and O3 advocates make the same claim. I have no idea
whether these are valid claims. I would worry about free radical damage.

At 20 dollars for a 650-drop bottle I think most of us can afford to
give it a try if it's not dangerous. My impression is that the
author is sincere and at least believes that he's made an important
discovery. All he says is falsifiable and if it's not true will be
 found out.

The most interesting claim in my view: stabilized oxygen's effective
ingredient is not the oxygen but rather the chlorine dioxide.

One last point: the author admits that his product is the same as
stabilized oxygen made from sodium chlorite, but is 28 times for
powerful. He also says one can make MMS at home and provides
instructions in the second download and in his book.

Marshall asks if chlorine dioxide is the stuff in Chlorox Bleach.
Good question. If so I would assume it is entirely indiscriminate in
its action and would be very risky to take internally.

This was due to someone who was claiming that chlorine dioxide is the
same thing as sodium hypochlorite, which is bleach. After
investigating, I find that they are NOT the same thing. The confusion
may have arisen because chlorine dioxide can be made from a mixture of
sodium chlorite and sodium hypochlorite.

Re: CSFw: Non C/S - OT MLM, MMS, and ........ the Chase

2007-09-01 Thread Dan Nave
As far as I'm concerned, Vitamin O and Stabilized Oxygen
are absolute bullshit terms. These say nothing and mean
nothing. If they are being used for selling a product it is
advertising hype. Judging from the information provided by
Jim Humble, the mechanism of action of these substances, if
they contain sodium chlorite, if different than what they claim.

The MMS name is equally bullshit, obviously calculated to
grab your attention and an attempt to label it as a mineral
supplement for FDA and FTC purposes. At least what it
contains is specifically stated and they give a plausible
method of it's action, and there is some analysis to back it
up in the second part of the book. The first part also
describes the complete issue in more general terms. The
formula, exactly what it is, where to buy ingredients, how
to mix it up yourself is specifically given. There is no
attempt to mislead the reader about what the product is.
The author is apparently getting nothing from promoting it
other than his minimal book fee if you buy the second
section, and possibly a donation from *one* of the MMS
suppliers towards supplying it for use in African malaria
abatement. At any rate, the product is not particularly
overpriced.

The MMS may or may not work, but I personally think that Jim
Humble believes in it. If not, he is an absolute genius.

You appear to be grinding your favorite con ax. Whether it
is appropriate in this case is unknown. Certainly you could
read what is presented before engaging in gross speculations...

2007-09-01 Thread Dan Nave

It is very easy to Google Exercise With Oxygen Therapy.

You can see exactly how they describe the action that they
attribute to EWOT. You seem very opinionated about it, so
it would behoove you to read it as presented by the people
advocating it rather than second hand from me. I believe
they are careful in describing exactly what is going on.
They also seem to feel that it is very effective.

There is a short writeup for the The D’Adamo Clinic:
http://www.dadamo.com/clinic/ewotpdf.pdf

It is advocated by William Campbell Douglass MD, a bit of a
contrarian with whom I don't always agree.

I'm pretty sure I saw it recommended by one at least of the
other popular Alternative MD newsletter writers, but I can't
find the reference right now.

I went from 5 minutes on a treadmill to 45 minutes within about

Two things to be certain of, Kathryn:

One, you need to subscribe to the OT list, just like you do the main
one. Otherwise, you'll not see *any* messages from the OT list.

See the web page for instructions: http://www.silverlist.org ... click
on the Off Topic List link.

Two, you can only post to the OT list if you're subscribed to the main
list, and only from the address you're using on the main list.

If you want to get the OT list delivered to a different address and
post from that address, let me know. I'll have to set that up manually.
It's not difficult, but not the default behavior of the way I've got
the software jury-rigged. sigh

Hope that answers a couple of questions about using the OT list.

Be well,

CSSalt in CS for Sinus?

2007-09-01 Thread Pat
My son decided to try colloidal silver for his sinus infections. He'd been
having a tiny bit of success with a saline solution which had xylitol in it.
He said he felt he should add a bit of salt to the already made CS so it would
be compatible. I said not to, but just now I read this and so I wonder:

In order to put silver into the sinus cavities a small amount of salt must be
added to make an isotonic solution . When just enough salt is added, the
salinity of the solution matches the salinity of the body tissue. This prevents
the painful sensation that one experiences when water goes up the nose in a
swimming pool.

I thought we should never put salt into CS unless we're going for the Smurf
look.

CSDoes Salt/C protocol interfere with CS protocol, cayenne pepper?

2007-09-01 Thread Carlos Prez

Hello, friends,

In my battle against a very serious 10 year old chronic Ehrlichiosis (many
of you know have read about it), which all indications tell me I am winning
or already wan with the help of CS and Cayenne pepper (besides my normal
healthy habits related to eating, exercising and avoiding inconvenient
activities), I am ready to start the Salt/C protocol, as a previous step
before starting another intense cycle in which I consume around 24 ounces of
CS along 16 hours every day for around 3-4 weeks, and come back to my
maintenance dosage of around 8 ounces per day in 16 hours, which I am
normally using simultaneously with a relatively high ammount of fresh
Cayenne pepper in my 3 main meals.

Even though Lyme disease (another disease also mainly transmitted by Ticks
like Ehrlichiosis) is very different (produced by Borrelia burgdorfery, a
spiroquette, instead of several different Ehrlichiae, Riicettsiaceae, which
cause Ehrlichiosis), the synthomathology is very similar. Since there are
good experiences in treating Lyme with Salt/C, including several reported
cures, I believe it wil not hurt me trying this.

In the opinion of the experienced ones, would there be any counterindication
in doing it all at the same time?

Thanks in advance for your helpful oinions and suggestions.

Regards,

Carlos

Great catch, Ode. Once again this makes me wonder about putting
chlorine dixoide into the human body. At this point I am completely

An Interview with Chlorine Dioxide
Chlorine dioxide has been prominent in the news recently for its role
helping rid Senator Tom Daschle's office and the air ducts in the Hart
Senate Office Building of anthrax spores. This week (December 10,
2001) we sat down for an exclusive interview with this previously
obscure chemical.

KM- When you heard that Senator Daschle's office was going to have to
be fumigated, did you think you would get the gig?

ClO2- Well, I guess the EPA might have considered a few other
oxidizing agents: ozone, hypochlorites (my cousins), or peroxyacetic
acid. We're all in the union, but for fumigation (gas-phase)
applications, I guess I have the right combination of qualities. I'm a
gas at room temperature. As I said, I'm easily generated, and my
antimicrobial activity is very rapid. They might have gone with ozone,
but she's a bit too reactive, and they thought she might destroy vital
equipment or papers. The EPA actually tested me in a sealed trailer
before they decided to use me. I am proud to say that I was effective
without destroying any of the computers or papers.

KM- Any last words?

ClO2- Yes, I want to emphasize that I am a chemical, and I am proud of
it! As a matter of fact, I am a moderately toxic chemical. As such, I
sometimes suffer from the misconceptions and prejudices that people
have of me. I feel privileged to have the opportunity to serve so
publicly in the service of humanity. Thank you.
