hello sol, nice to hear from you--it seems ages since you posted. I hesitate
to ask, but have you tried thinking of this neuropathy as being a herpes
assault? I mean the zoster variety. If so, have you thought of MMS because
this seems to have sorted mine and I've only been using it for a while. I get
recurring bouts of mild shingles when I'm under stress, and then the 'stabbing'
pains across my ribs and under my upper arms. this has stopped now. Just a
thought. dee

Out of that thousands, a few over do it and whine that they were told it
was safe.
MMS is not safe..nor are many FDA approved drugs, but you have
someone else to blame, somebody to sue...and they charge **everyone** a
FORTUNE to take it be they errant or ignorant or not.

Socialized blame?
If you didn't make any money on it, you can't pay off lawsuits with the
money you didn't make.

Let's see. Thousands of people around the world take this stuff daily or
weekly. Thousands have been shown to be cured of malaria, HIV, AIDS,
cancer, flu, colds, and many other illnesses. Has helped some recover
from lupus and/or diabetes. Germs and viruses can't become immune to
it. No research has been done by any recognized research lab or by the
FDA. You can't patent the stuff so there is no way for the FDA or big
pharmacy to make any money off this stuff.

The worst side-effect anybody has gotten when following directions is mild
nausea, occasional vomiting, and temporary diarrhea. Guess how many
people die each year from FDA approved prescription medication?

And now the FDA wants to scare everyone away from it. I figure so many
people are turning to something that is cheap and works that it is having
an impact on a profitable industry. Jim Humble was smart to move to an
undisclosed location outside of the US.

Typical.

Just caught this threadHow timely, Tomorrow I will have just
finished my 1st round of the HcG diet.It lasts for 23 days by taking .36 cc
homeopathically for 1 bottle 23 days. I lost 20 lbs in the 23 days. It was
amazing as I do not lose easily. I was not hungry nor hyper on it. The
instructions say to go on a maintenance diet for the next 3 weeks then you wait
some time before starting another round if you need to. Facebook has a good
supportive group. It is very strict and restrictive but you are just not
hungry. I did a lot of reading and psyching myself up to start it and am glad I
did. I feel great. The only days I did not lose was days when I had cheated
while out socially with friends, that is your downfall the social aspect of
eating.

CSColloidal Silver Wiith Zeolite

2010-08-02 Thread Norton, Steve

Zeolite was recently discussed but not regarding its use combined with
colloidal silver. When CS is mixed with zeolite the zeolite adsorbs the
silver into its interior and releases silver ions slowly. Silver loaded.
zeolite (SZ) acts very differently than CS alone and can be useful in
some applications. SZ is not a substite for CS. CS is fast acting and
can enter the bloodstream. SZ releases silver ions slowly over time and
does not enter the bloodstream. But it has wide commercial use because
of its unique qualities. Some of SZ's commercial uses include numerous
types of antimicrobial coatings for metal and plastic surfaces, clothing
and shoe odor treatments. It is added to paints, cosmetic skin
treatments and toothpaste. And it is also used in wound treatment
compounds. And even for removing salt from seawater.

In many ways silver zeolite acts like silver particles. So one might ask
why use silver loaded zeolite and not just silver particles? SZ does not
degrade the materials it is added to. It is not as photosensitive as
silver. If properly prepared, the silver is adsorbed into the internal
structure of the zeolite and does not remain on the outer surface. This
reduces the ability of other substances to complex with the silver and
form undesirable insoluble compounds.

For some time, I have used CS to hydrate clays and added it to zeolite
and non swelling clays. I generally use silver citrate for this because
I can make it in a high ppm which is good for this use. But you can also
use EIS. With silver citrate, even the citric acid is adsorbed and the
citric acid flavor disappears. With zeolite you can soak it in EIS pour
off the water after the silver is adsorbed and then add more EIS. Each
time increasing the silver percentage in the SZ.

You can dry the SZ which makes it easy to store and use. It can be added
to skin cream or used directly on wounds letting the moisture of the
wound wet the zeolite. You can use it in a home made toothpaste.

I take it orally just as I would use regular zeolite. The CS only
partially fills the zeolite and the zeolite still acts to remove toxins.
Frankly, I am not sure what to expect from this usage since it takes a
number of days for the SZ to pass through ans zeolite is known to coat
the intestinal walls. I don't use a lot or use it continually but have
wondered that if I did would it have more of an effect on intestinal
flora than CS? Does it provide a continuous release of silver ions into
the bloodstream at a low level? I have not had any problems with flora
die off but then I don't use a lot orally..

I think that SZ is another technique that provides additional
possibilities. It is strange but I did not find much on the use of
silver and clays. I would think that clay would act similarly to zeolite
if mixed with CS and taken internally.

CSDMSO Gel Vs 99.9% Pure

2010-08-02 Thread Garnet_LDN

Undiluted liquid from a Farm Supply is cheaper, but you will need to dilute
to various concentrations depending on where you are using it.

I use 5% in eyes and nose, 20% on head, neck or face, stronger on areas
where the skin is not sensitive and there is some body fat underneath.

Individual sensitivity can vary, so best to start low and work up, from
20%. I have used
it 70 - 99% on my hands, for burns, when I did not have time to dilute
it. But it does dry out

your skin and makes it look funny.

It releases Histamine from Mast Cells so until that local supply is
depleted you will get redness and itching right after you apply it.
Drying of the skin can also occur so moisturizing
with Aloe Gel or Emu Oil, my favorite, is recommended. Emu Oil goes on
dry and penetrates to subdermal layers, is non-comedogenic ( not greasy
) and takes very little.

Gel is easy to apply, so is roll on. Gel works really well for animals
because you can work
it into the fur but you are paying more. I often use the liquid on my
animals and just squirted it on with a syringe or painted it on with a
clean brush. Some people like the gel for convenience.

Always dilute with distilled water and ALWAYS add the DMSO to the water
and never
add water to concentrated DMSO, because it releases a lot of heat,
enough to melt a plastic

container.

You many want to join the DMSO group, check out the Files and Links
sections.

CSRegenerative wound healing using copper-silver citrate composition

2010-08-02 Thread Norton, Steve
Below is an interesting patent application and some excerpts from the
patent. In a previous post I mentioned silver with zeolite. I had also
found a number of zeolite applications that used zinc or copper alone or
in combination with silver.

 - Steve N

http://www.faqs.org/patents/app/20100099758
Patent application title: Regenerative wound healing using copper-silver
citrate composition

A composition containing copper and silver ions electrolytically
generated in a solution of citric acid that also contains potassium
carbonate is shown to expedite the healing of wounds with regeneration
of normal tissue architecture and without excessive scarring. A wide
range of wounds and other forms of tissue damage affecting the skin and
other areas of the body respond favorably to the direct application of
the composition, with expedited healing, re-growth of normal appearing
(non-scar) tissue and symptomatic relief from pain and swelling. The
composition acts in both humans and animals through a novel mechanism
provisionally termed the tissue regeneration induced pathway (TRIP).

[0047]The present invention stems from a series of serendipitous
observations of expedited healing of skin wounds without significant
scarring, in both humans and animals following the application of a
copper-silver citrate composition. The composition was initially
developed as an effective environmental antimicrobial disinfectant
reagent. It has now been shown to promote wound healing and tissue
regeneration.

[0052]Copper citrate was developed as an antibacterial product that
could show some preferential killing of gram positive bacteria It is
produced by electrolysis of copper to a concentration of 300-500 ppm in
a citrate solution, as a chelator. It was further decided to include
silver at a concentration of approximately 50 ppm to potentially allow
for better conductivity and possibly a broader antimicrobial action. The
solution has performed very well as a disinfectant in hospitals and
other locations. It has also displayed somewhat remarkable wound healing
properties.

[0054]The invention provides a copper-silver-citrate solution that has
wound healing activities. Although the mechanism of its action is not
well understood, the observations made t6 date far exceed anything
reported in the current literature. The healing of skin wounds has been
documented in both animals and humans and requires no more that daily
exposure to a wounded area to achieve healing. More importantly, skin
and other lesions are healing with far less scarring than would be
expected from allowing the natural healing process to proceed within the
intervention. Various concentrations of the stock solution have been
tried with possibly more effect when undiluted but clearly with an
effect even at a 10% concentration. Several examples are cited below.

[0055]The product is routinely produced by electrolysis in a 3-5% citric
acid solution buffered with potassium carbonate to pH 5.5. The current
is provided by a 200 Amp 12 volt battery. The amount of silver dissolved
is calculated to be between 30 and 50 ppm. At the end of the silver
electrolysis, the pH is again adjusted to 5.5 and then copper is
electrolytically dissolved to a concentration between 300-500 ppm. The
pH of the solution is then adjusted to between 2.5 and 3.5 using
additional citric acid. It is then filtered and bottled. Several batches
have been tested and all have shown wound healing activities. Ongoing
nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) studies are consistent with a close
association of an enlarged copper atom with the central carboxylic
functional group of the citrate molecule.

[0056]Individual L.H. was using an electric screwdriver and
inadvertently held his thumb in the path of the screw. The screw passed
through both the front and the nail side of his thumb, leaving a gaping
hole surrounded by flesh. It was apparent that the bone must have been
penetrated. Two days elapsed with the thumb becoming more painful and
beginning to throb. Because of concern about possible infection, the
copper-silver-citrate solution was sprayed onto the wound at 100%
concentration. Apart from the stinging, there were no adverse effects.
The individual was instructed to dip his thumb into a 2 oz container of
the copper-silver-citrate solution twice daily for 7 days. The hole
closed over in one day and the swelling had resolved. By day 3 the wound
had healed without noticeable scabbing, discolorization or scarring. An
ultrasound of his thumb at day 7 showed a fully intact terminal phalange
(finger bone). His thumb is now fully functional and unscarred with a
normal appearing thumbprint.

[0057]Individual R.B. had a long standing deep wound involving his left
heel. His foot had been operated upon approximately a year earlier
because of a methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA)
infection. The surgery included removal of a portion of the calcaneus
(heel) bone. He was still left with an open, draining

thanks for the info. however it doesn't state which antibiotics were used in
the study. i read on another site that certain antibiotics such as
tetracyline, quinolone and also penicillamine had their effectiveness reduced
because of cs. now its possible this is biased reporting but if it isnt then
there are specific antibiotics that are affected by cs. and i would like to
know if doxycyline and amoxicillin are two of them. thanks again

A 2007 study on the interaction of colloidal silver and antibiotics shows no
problems with using colloidal silver and antibiotics.

Antibacterial efficacy of colloidal silver alone and in combination with
other antibiotics on isolates from wound Infections

A total of ten clinical bacterial isolates comprising five isolates of
Escherichia coli isolated from surgical wound patients at the Federal
Medical Centre, Abakaliki and five isolates of Staphylococcus aureus
isolated from the wound sites of burnt patients at the University of Nigeria
Teaching Hospital, Enugu were evaluated for their susceptibility to
colloidal silver at 5 and 20 ppm using agar dilution method and the killing
rate technique. Also, interaction studies between colloidal silver and some
conventional antibiotics were carried out against the clinical isolates of
Escherichia coli and S. aureus using disc diffusion technique. The result of
the study shows that the test organisms were sensitive to the colloidal
silver at both concentrations and also to some of the antibiotics in the
paper disc. The killing rate studies revealed that the colloidal silver is
highly bactericidal against the test isolates at both concentrations. The
drug interaction study showed no antagonism, indicating that concomitant use
of colloidal silver with these antibiotics may not affect the therapeutic
efficacy of either of these agents.

All I know is that my husband came home from
being sliced from from sternum to pubic area.

He started having problems with redness developing
the first day he arrived home.

The V.A. Drs. prescribed silver ointment as they
were having problems with resistant bacteria.

The warning originated from the National
Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine (NCCAM), a part of the
 NIH. See:

 http://nccam.nih.gov/health/alerts/silver/

Colloidal silver may interfere with the body's absorption of the
following drugs: penacillamine, quinolones, tetracyclines, and
 thyroxine.

There is no basis for the warning provided. If anyone can provide data that
SHOWS that colloidal silver interferes with ANY antibiotic, I would be very
interested to see it. But as it is, anyone can make any unsubstantiated
charge against CS and it is expected that CS uses must disprove the claim.
Hey, believe whatever you want! Meanwhile here is a couple more.

 - Steve N

Here is a study that shows that CS increases the bactericidal efficiency of
 amoxicillin

Synergistic antibacterial effects of â-lactam antibiotic combined with
 silver
 nanoparticles
 http://www.iop.org/EJ/abstract/0957-4484/16/9/082

When amoxicillin and silver nanoparticles are combined, it results in
 greater
bactericidal efficiency on Escherichia coli cells than when they were
 applied
separately. Dynamic tests on bacterial growth indicated that exponential and
stationary phases are greatly decreased and delayed in the synergistic
 effect
of amoxicillin and silver nanoparticles. In addition, the effect induced by
 a
preincubation with silver nanoparticles is examined. The results show that
solutions with more silver nanoparticles have better antimicrobial effects.

 And:

 http://www.academicjournals.org/sre/PDF/pdf2008/May/Iroha%20et%20al%20.pdf

  Unlike pharmaceutical antibiotics, which destroy
beneficial enzymes, colloidal silver leaves these beneficial
enzymes intact (Hall et al., 1999). An added advantage
to the use of silver is that it has variously been
shown to have high safety profile in vivo and cannot
interact or interfere with other medicines being taken
(Iroha et al., 2007). Furthermore, it is known not to
destroy the normal microbial flora of the gut thereby
avoiding the negative effects of traditional antibiotics that
kill good bacteria in the lower digestive tract (Beaker and
 Spadaro, 1981).

Dunno if it's been mentioned, but high dose vitamin B6 will bring on
this condition.
My sister is recovering from this now.

2010-08-02 Thread Renee
Sol, is it only in the hands, or in the feet, too? There was a woman on a
list whose husband had really bad neuropathy in his feet. They found this
machine, not super expensive, but more than a couple hundred, if I remember
right. But it had a money back guarantee, so if it didn't work a person
could send it back.

She said the machine worked wonders for her husband, that he started to
quickly not only loose the pain in his feet, but to get feeling back! It's
some sort of super vibrator. Then someone else came on and said that they'd
had the same experience with their machine.

I can see if I still have the information if you are interested.

CScs and antibiotics (Stop worrying)

2010-08-02 Thread Alchemysa
The original source for the NCCAM warning is The Natural Medicines
Comprehensive Database. A while ago I subscribed to that service
specifically to learn more about that particular warning.

Well there wasn't much more to learn. The NMCD had no supporting
references and the risk was described as 'Theoretical and Minor'. So
I wouldn't worry too much.

(The fact the NCCAM published this 'theoretical' risk without any
explanation sorta tells whose side they're on doesn't it?)
