CSDeodorant

2010-10-11 Thread Bethany Methven
Has anyone ever played around with making a deordorant with ICS? If you could
find a good base, doesn't it seem that the ICS would keep the odor causing
bacteria from becoming a problem throughout the day?

I would LOVE some feedback on this.

Thanks - Bethany

CSPlantar fasciitis, was DMSO, to Lisa

2010-10-11 Thread ransley
So are you saying that using oil of cloves rubbed on one's foot for
plantar fasciitis will help relieve the pain (with the possibility of a
brief bout of painful urination)?

Yes. I am using the Oil of Cloves from www.studioproducts.com, actually sold
as a fine art paint additive. They sent me a bottle to try with an order of
their triple distilled turpentine. I asked around what it was good for and
Chuck told me that it was good for the kind of pain like being hit in the
face with a brick;)

Well that was a pretty good description of my foot pain sometimes so I
rubbed some on and began to get immediate relief. To cut it all short, I
found out that it worked as good and dried faster when mixed with Miracle II
Neutralizer Gel. Just cover the bottom of a shot glass with M2 Neut Gel, add
a FEW drops of Clove oil, mix with finger until emulsified, and apply to
foot.

Warning: Any infections in the body will begin dying. I still get a very
mild reaction in my right sinus and upper jaw joint area from it. The first
urination after application may burn. That can happen within 30 seconds.
Clove oil goes through the skin and throughout the body as fast as or faster
than DMSO but it smells good and you don't taste it.

Anything else you used specifically for the PF?

A grounding pad at my feet as I sleep, and 2 of Peter Kulish's regular
magnets, in a sock, one one each side of foot, green side in.

I have tired many other things including many rubbings with DMSO and took
lots of various and sundry superfoods and supplements including recently a
lot of Knox gelatin but nothing gave me the pain relief that I got from Oil
of Cloves.

I do think though that the magnets and grounding add much to the actual
healing, but do not give the pain relief of the Clove oil.

Wash hands afterward. Do NOT get Clove oil in eyes!

The clove oil can create a herx if you are carrying something because it is a
powerful anti-microbial. It is one of the oils supposedly used by grave
robbers during the bubonic plague to keep them protected from the disease. If
you use any homeopathics it will antidote them.

Doesn't the M2 gel have a lot of magnesium in it? That could also be helping
to relax your tissues. You might want to look at a shoe insert that holds your
arches properly as 'foot fatigue' can contribute to plantar fasciitis as well.

Thanks for sharing this.

You can also make your own if you purchase a bottle of GSE.
Dilute with distilled water 5 or 6 parts DW to one part GSE in an 8 ounce

Spray on and massage into skin. Good for entire day, or more if you don't

Given that DMSO is used as part of the solution for
preservation/transport for organs to be transplanted, I'd be very
surprised if nerve damage is an issue. More likely (--read Stan Jacobs
material!--he's a researcher!) pain relief has to do with changing the
permeability of cell membrane. When you also consider how often it's used
on athletic injuries, I'd be surprised if nerve damage is a factor. Ask
your doc if his info is published or verified anyplace--like sports meds
or vet meds or with cystitis or with transplant technology.

Consider reading the articles at Jacob's site if you haven't read Morton's

CSplantar fasciatis

2010-10-11 Thread Dick Rochon
Hi, Bob.

Did the oil of cloves speed the healing of the torn ligament, or just relieve
the pain? Stretching the toes toward the shin for awhile relieves my pain, but
does nothing to heal the problem.

Four hundred dollars for doctor, custom orthotics, new shoes, etc., has
relieved the pain, but has not yet healed the ligament.

DR Gordon told me that in order for magnets to penetrate under the skin
they must be pulsed. He had a variance from the Medical Association to
research magnets and experiment on patients with them. He designed the
EM-Pulse
magnet. He said using magnets like you do has only a skin effect. He had 3
stents and was told to get on the heart transplant list. He put the EM-Pulse
in his shirt pocket and thought it helped his heart problem. He rode his
bike from Washington state to Ohio to show the world how the pulsed magnet
worked even with heart problems. He used to call it the EM-Probe but changed
the name because too many people told him where to put it. He passed away
from heart problems so it gave him more years but was not a cure.

He used an infrared laser, Pegasus, in his sports medicine clinic. It would
heal a scratch without leaving a scar if you used it right away. I used
it many times as working on a tree farm seems to cause lots of scratches as
I hate to wear gloves. It would even help reduce pain from 20 year old scar
tissue. I bought my own laser back in the mid 80's for $150. I used it
after removing the staples from my recent knee replacement and the scar is
visible but has broken spots without a scar. 3 weeks was too long a wait to
hope for no scar.

My cousin recently passed away from kidney failure. She worked in a crab
plant shaking crab meat and used DMSO every break to relieve the wrist pain.
She got me started using DMSO around the mid 80's. My wife agreed with the
foot DR that DMSO was bad and she thinks it contributed to my cousins
death. So I have both the DR and my wife against me.

Re: CSDeodorant

2010-10-11 Thread Tony Moody
I have tried using straight CS spritzed on. It works very well as a soother and
also as a
deodoriser but doesn't last long enough. three or four hours and I would have
to spritz again.

Several years ago I switched to using half and half bicarbonate of soda and
fine kitchen salt,
very much as Edith does. I wet some fingers, dab one into the salt/bicarb
mixture and rub
that onto the armpit. Repeat the other side. At first it didn't last 24 hours
but now a single
application does last round the clock. One could use CS as the wetting agent
and that should
be a heavy duty mix.

OK,
Tony

Soap is residual and a film stays on the skin increasing possible bacterial
increase response to body fluids, that is if you use soap - I use a non
residual body wash - never smell of anything under my arms but am
vegetarian, dont drink alcohol or smoke - (and am not boring either LOL ) -
just saying that these several factors increase one's tendency to under arm
odour. I don't use a deodorant, but have Weleda's deodorant there (spray
liquid) just in case. They say that under arm odour is also related to
fear. You can smell the fear on people. But diet plays an important role

No,  the beeswax used with vco and lavander is so minimal just enough to make
it soft-solid so it does not clog pores.  It is used on face, itch, burns,

specially those who sweat a lot from exercising to use as underarm deodorant.
The whole thing melts when in contact with skin and is absorbed due to vco.
After warm bath, no trace of the cream at all.

CSPlease comment on this method

2010-10-11 Thread Jim Holmes
Marshall and Neena, I will be grateful if you especially will review and
comment.

I am intuitively suspicious of some silver salts being produced.

I know a man who deliberately turned himself blue using a sol made by a
similar process. It is reversing, and I do not know if he is doing anything
to help that.

Does anyone know of variants of the method, using coins directly in aloe
gel?

CSinfo about narcolepsy and/or cataplexy

2010-10-11 Thread Rusty Moncrief

Does anyone on this list have any experience with narcolepsy or cataplexy? If
so, are there any natural remedies that you would recommend? I've been
researching this information on the net and found cayenne, hypericum
perforatum, schizandra chinesis, calcium lactate, magnesium lactate and vitamin
B6 might help but would love some non-biased info.

Thank you in advance,
