I use Thieves Oil from Young Living (yes, I know, people don't like them, but
their oils are good).
Clove oil is a main ingredient.
I have used it internally many times with no problems.
Put some drops in my mouth (burns), swish until mixed with saliva, and swallow.
Strong odor of clove for a while.
I wonder if this would also give pain relief if applied externally??

The clove oil can create a herx if you are carrying something because it is a
powerful anti-microbial. It is one of the oils supposedly used by grave
robbers during the bubonic plague to keep them protected from the disease. If
you use any homeopathics it will antidote them.

Doesn't the M2 gel have a lot of magnesium in it? That could also be helping
to relax your tissues. You might want to look at a shoe insert that holds your
arches properly as 'foot fatigue' can contribute to plantar fasciitis as well.

  Thanks for sharing this.

     > So are you saying that using oil of cloves rubbed on one's foot for
plantar fasciitis will help relieve the pain (with the possibility of a brief
bout of painful urination)? <

Yes. I am using the Oil of Cloves from www.studioproducts.com, actually
sold as a fine art paint additive. They sent me a bottle to try with an order
of their triple distilled turpentine. I asked around what it was good for and
Chuck told me that it was good for the kind of pain like being hit in the face
with a brick;>)

Well that was a pretty good description of my foot pain sometimes so I
rubbed some on and began to get immediate relief. To cut it all short, I found
out that it worked as good and dried faster when mixed with Miracle II
Neutralizer Gel. Just cover the bottom of a shot glass with M2 Neut Gel, add a
FEW drops of Clove oil, mix with finger until emulsified, and apply to foot.

Warning: Any infections in the body will begin dying. I still get a very
mild reaction in my right sinus and upper jaw joint area from it. The first
urination after application may burn. That can happen within 30 seconds. Clove
oil goes through the skin and throughout the body as fast as or faster than
DMSO but it smells good and you don't taste it.

    > Anything else you used specifically for the PF? <

A grounding pad at my feet as I sleep, and 2 of Peter Kulish's "regular"
magnets, in a sock, one one each side of foot, green side in.

I have tired many other things including many rubbings with DMSO and took
lots of various and sundry superfoods and supplements including recently a lot
of Knox gelatin but nothing gave me the pain relief that I got from Oil of
Cloves.

I do think though that the magnets and grounding add much to the actual
healing, but do not give the pain relief of the Clove oil.

Wash hands afterward. Do NOT get Clove oil in eyes!
