Re: CS2 Questions
Wanted to add my comment on the use of Melatonin. I'm a 59 year old female. Several years ago I had trouble getting to sleep and staying asleep. I would sleep for 30 minutes up to 60 minutes then come totally awake. This would go on all night I doubted if I ever had more then 2 hour un-interrupted sleep. I was beginning to manifest problems into my daily life (depression, anxiety, etc). I had read Judy Mazel book (the celeberty diet) in it she talked about the use of raw seseme seeds. I began having a cup of hot tea (sleepy time) and about a quarter cup of raw seseme seeds (making sure I spent the time chewing them). Also, I started taking Herbal Life's Meletoni (I took two) and also I took 1 to 2 1,000 miligrams of Coral Calcium. I would take these about an hour before I would go to bed.I now get 5 to 7 hours of un-interrupted sleep. On Jeff's comment below regarding vivid dreaming. Yes I do have dreams but they are wonderful and vivid... I would have to say my dreams have made a big difference in my life. Everyone would have to make up their own minds regarding the dreams but I would say test it and see what you think. Also, I discovered all Melontonin brands are not the same. I buy Herbal Life's (I get a discounted price as I'm a member of Resource Maxima) and their product gave me the best type sleep and did not leave me feeling droggy after waking up. connie On Sun, 5 Feb 2006 09:41:18 -0600 Jeff ssc...@grandecom.net writes: I read that the Melatonin levels in the body decrease with age and that is why most elderly people have trouble sleeping. I googled it when a friend suggested it to me to find out more about it. I had trouble staying asleep at night and it helped me. I would suggest that you try the 3 microgram instead of the 1 milligram doses. Sometimes less is more with Melatonin. Also I was told that the stronger doses sometimes cause vivid dreaming. Use of these products could pose a risk of serious adverse events such as infections, particularly in children, the elderly, and individuals with weakened immune systems who are particularly susceptible to illness. We will not tolerate the marketing of products that use deceptive and untruthful claims to lure consumers into potentially dangerous situations, said Margaret O'K. Glavin, FDA's Associate Commissioner for Regulatory Affairs. We consider it a significant public health hazard when consumers are deliberately deceived into using potentially dangerous products that promise health benefits but deliver only risk of harm. Tedco, Inc., promotes Miracle II Neutralizer for ophthalmic use (in the eyes), including treatment of cataracts and pink eye, and as an eyewash. FDA requires that all ophthalmic products be sterile. Due to the substantial risk posed by non-sterility, Miracle II Neutralizer should never be applied to the eyes. Tedco, Inc., also markets Miracle II Neutralizer for other unapproved uses, including treatment of AIDS, cancer, Crohn's Disease, dermatitis, diaper rash, diabetes, ear ache, hemorrhoids, hives, gout, herpes, mouth ulcers, psoriasis, skin cancer, and yeast infection. The firm sells Miracle II Neutralizer Gel for many of the same unapproved uses, including diaper rash, diabetes, gout, psoriasis, and skin cancer. Tedco, Inc., promotes its Miracle II products with claims such as, Supreme technology has made possible for a perfect soap cleaner, deodorizer, natural insecticide and antibacterial product to be put on the market. This is the only product that is made in the world that can wash a newborn baby or clean up an oil spill and everything in between. Contrary to such claims, recent FDA testing of Miracle II Neutralizer and Miracle II Neutralizer Gel revealed bacterial contamination and poor manufacturing conditions. Although Tedco, Inc., has been advised by FDA of the contamination found in its Miracle II Neutralizer and Miracle II Neutralizer Gel products, the firm has declined to voluntarily remove the products from the market. A number of stores sell Miracle II Neutralizer and Miracle II Neutralizer Gel, and the products are distributed and sold worldwide and sold via the Internet. The products are packaged in 8 oz, 22 oz, and one-gallon size containers. FDA urges consumers, health care providers, and caregivers to cease using and dispose of these products and report any adverse events related to these products to MedWatch, the FDA's voluntary reporting program at 1-800-FDA-1088; by FAX at 1-800-FDA-0178; by mail to MedWatch, Food and Drug Administration, 5600 Fishers Lane, Rockville, MD, 20857-9787; or online at http://www.fda.gov/medwatch/report.htm. thanks... I received the same response from my doctor or told me to go home and use ear drops. I wish they could feel the pain I go through each time I have an attack. I'm seeing the dentist on a monthly basis not sure if he would catch an infection under the tooth or not. TIA; Bruce Anderson Duncan Crow wrote: Are you familiar with Baseline Nutritionals Proteolytic Enzymes? I have been taking these, and would appreciate your opinion. Blockbuster All Clear contains serrapeptase, three times the nattokinase and lipase, a good fatty deposit dissolver. Your brand contains no serrapeptase, but more protease and more SeaProse. Although Seaprose edged out serrapeptase by 15% in clinical studies, serrapeptase is an excellent complement to nattokinase. Blockbuster contains only about a third of the Seaprose, but it contains a huge amount (1/3 gram) of serrapeptase. Unlike the other enzymes, nattokinase is a potent fibrinolytic (clotbuster), that also increases the secretion of your body's natural clotbuster plasmin, so the three times the dose in BlockBuster provides a distinct advantage. I don't understand all the HUT, FU, MCU, etc. I do know from reading about the ingredients, he uses Seaprose-S instead of serrapeptase. Thanks! I looked at the a lot of enzyme blends before settling on Blockbuster, and again in this case the award goes to BlockBuster All Clear, the winner by a large margin. It was sent to their staff. Cancer News from Johns Hopkins: 1. No plastic containers in micro. 2. No water bottles in freezer. 3. No plastic wrap in microwave. Johns Hopkins has recently sent this out in its newsletters. This information is being circulated at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. Dioxin chemicals causes cancer, especially breast cancer. Dioxins are highly poisonous to the cells of our bodies. Don't freeze your plastic bottles with water in them as this releases dioxins from the plastic. Recently, Dr. Edward Fujimoto, Wellness Program Manager at Castle Hospital, was on a TV program to explain this health hazard. He talked about dioxins and how bad they are for us. He said that we should not be heating our food in the microwave using plastic containers. This applies to foods that contain fat. He said that the combination of fat, high heat, and plastics releases dioxin into the food and ultimately into the cells of the body. Instead, he recommends using glass, Corning Ware or ceramic containers for heating food. You get the same results, only without the dioxin. So such things as TV dinners, instant ramen and soups, etc., should be removed from the container and heated in something else. Paper isn't bad but you don't know what is in the paper. It's just safer to use tempered glass, Corning Ware, etc. He reminded us that a while ago some of the fast food restaurants moved away from the foam containers to paper. The dioxin problem is one of the reasons. Also, he pointed out that Saran wrap is just as dangerous when placed over foods to be cooked in the microwave. As the food is nuked, the high heat causes poisonous toxins to actually melt out of the plastic wrap and drip into the food. Cover food with a paper towel instead. Re: CSRe: fingernails/bone density
Jill I've been watching in the background as the subject has progressed, but I haven't seen anyone ask how you take the ground black sesame seed. For years I have been taking unground sesame seeds in the evening with a glass of hot water (I gave up coffee years ago and now just drink hot water), or hot tea. I just chew the seeds really well. I began this after reading Judy Mazwell (sp) book the celebrity diet (could have been the holiwood diet). She indicated it was the best source for calcium (and cheapest). Plus, the side effect was a rest full sleep and it has worked. Now reading you comments regarding the black sesame seed I thought I would try them but would like to know how you take it. I also would like to pass these info off to my friends 96 year old mother and I'm sure she will not want to chew the seeds. thanks for your usefull comments connie On Mon, 26 Sep 2005 18:47:03 EDT grace1...@aol.com writes: Frank: You have not offended me in the least. The list subject was splitting fingernails, and I felt pretty certain I could help. My psychic herbalist friend said bone density could be increased in 9 days by taking 2 tbsps. ground black raw sesame seeds. The fractures of the feet and ankles took over a year to heal, and the elderly lady's compression back fractures produced less pain relatively quickly, although no bone density tests were done after taking the sesame seeds, in either case, I believe. The lupus and lung cancer cases were resolved in three months, and this was verified by appropriate medical tests. With these cases there were no sesame seeds involved. Many folks would also say these recoveries were unbelievable as well, yet they resulted from the same psychic's recommendations as the sesame seed cases. I don't personally know if black sesame seeds can increase bone density in 9 days, but they did seem to have very positive effects. I know that within a month of taking the sesame seeds I could not clip my fingernails with the standard clipper, and even had trouble cutting them with a toenail clipper because they were so strong. Best regards, Jill By the way, what was recommended for lupus was colloidal silver--a quart a day for three months, the herb p'eau d'arco, and aloe vera applied to the rash.

My house is 850 sq ft with a partial basement below half of it. The other part is crawal space. If it would would I need a certain model to handle that space? thanks connie Connie, I'm not Sharon, but would like to share my own experience with using an Aranizer in a similar situation. For six years until recently, I lived in a house with a crawl space that was very damp -- so damp, in fact, that black mold was growing in the house! Leaving an Aranizer running in the crawl space 24/7 was very helpful. It was also a blessing to have one running INSIDE the house. We finally got the landlords to put a drainpipe in the gutter so the water ran off the roof to the ground away from the house when it rained, instead of pouring directly under the house in the crawl space. For you, running a dehumidifier in the finished portion of the basement could be really helpful. So would running the Aranizers. If there's no mold in your house, all this can help prevent it from growing. If there's already mold growing in the walls, you will probably have to run tubes from the Aranizers into the walls where the mold is growing -- because even though the ozone is in the air in the room, it generally cannot reach the inside of the wall or go through the wall to get to the mold. (How I wish what Garnet had written, that ozone goes into sheetrock and stays there, were true! Then we wouldn't need to run tubes into the walls.) By the way, a friend of mine owns a plastics factory and every time I'd visit him there, if the door from the inner lobby to the plastics molding portion of the factory we open, I'd have to run to his office holding my breath to avoid the fumes. He was just beginning the construction of prototypes of his wonderful far infrared sauna cabinet, so I was visiting him a lot because I was working on my sauna book; I really needed to be there. I worked on him for four years to install an air purification system in that factory. He finally did. He bought a humungous industrial size Aranizer. Even though the workers were not health-oriented at all, a few days after it was installed they all commented on how nice the air smelled! And one woman, who had chronic sinus problems, felt them abate considerably. So these Aranizers really work. I have dealer privileges, but use them only for myself and for people who are really ready to buy, because it's too much work to convince people that (1) ozone is safe, and (2) the Aranizers really work and are worth the price. They are more expensive than other brands, but you can leave them running 24/7 and there are no parts to wear out (it's based on Tesla technology). CSquestion
Hi... I'm Connie and have just joined the chat group. I would like to know if there is a way to be able to review old posts, so I can take advantage of information that may have been previously commented on. I'm trying to come up with a treatment for my cats... they have been to numerous vets and lots of antibiotics... yet the condition continues. The doctors say it is a virus and can not be treated effectively. There treatment for one of the condition was when it gets to bad we just pull all their teeth. I've been treating them for the last two months with Nutritional Yeast (recommended by Sylvia Brown), MSM, L-Lysine, and a special blend of natural ingredients that come in a bottle from the health food store. I quit giving them canned cat food and now feed them ground turkey blended with the above items. I bought some bottle of CS from Puritan's Pride and give this to them two a day.. with two of the cats I also drop the solution into their eyes and also their nostrils... it has been two days since I began that so I'm not sure how it is working. I quit giving the antibiotics and the eye drops the doctor perscribed. I want a good source for the CS but their is so many out their and with all the literature it's hard to make a good decision. I would also like to brew my own but again I'm not sure where I would locate the silver rods to insure they are 99.9% pure. In reading some of the currents post I've noticed that DMSO and MSM and WW are also being used... not sure what WW is. I figured I would read the old post and maybe learn some of the prior information that was being shared. thanks -- The Silver List is a moderated forum for discussing Colloidal Silver.
