Hello Dee
Good choice! Any minerals that are from an ocean source stand the chance of
being polluted as the Oceans are grossly polluted not only with garbage but
nuclear contaminates.

There could be something in the anti-caking chemicals added to table
salt which have not-yet understood negative health effects. So plain
old sea salt is the way to go. Ray Peat rather likes salt.

2016-02-21 Thread Lena Guyot
Hi PT,
I backed off after paroxysms of coughing, then just gently inhaling at a
distance from the mouthpiece, rather than sucking in. I'd do just enough to
feel it moisten my lips, and tongue and then slowly breathe in but not to the
point of cough reflex. After a little while, i could inhale more and more. i
noticed this with our dog, too. At first he'd jerk his head away, but if it
just fell gently around him and i breathed it in too (so he'd smell my breath
with it), he'd relax and after a while tolerate more direct vapors. You have to
respect what the body is telling you, but gently sneak up on it when you can.

Be well,
Léna

You might also try adding Epsom salt. About 1/3rd as much

Funny that because in the old days they used to use sugar to fight infections
ie they used to put it in wounds etc and according to Ray Peat, they used
fructose to combat diabetes which was then called a wasting disease.Dee

Put about 1tsp (300grams) xylitol into a 100ml nasal spray bottle, add
water. Let the xylitol crystals fully dissolve before inhaling.

I still have minor daily phlegm, so the streptococcus pneumonia may be
active? Dental plaque consists of streptococcus mutans biofilm. Could the
phlegm be a biofilm? I don't know.

I have had chronic lung infections since childhood, morning phegm ,
often coughing, easily get bronchitis , sometimes pneumonae. I tried
inhaling CS. Finally found that xylitol water in a nasal spray and
inhaled into the lungs 5 x day has it beat. Many lung infections have
a biofilm made of streptococci pneumonae, a bacteria which loves the
sugar in xylitol. When the strep consumes the xylitol sugar, the strep
bug loses it's ability to form the biofilm. (Same happens to tooth
decay forming strep mutans when fed xylitol).

Therefore, I wouldn't take anything that attacks bacteria when using
xylitol, such as zithromycin, salt or CS.

I now inhale xylitol water 2 x day as a preventive.

Hi Kathy,

Can you please tell us more about the essential oils?

What kind/s of oils?

Were they taken orally, nebulized or by aromatherapy?

Thank you,

Jean
**

Gary, I tried to email privately, but couldn't get it right. Anyway, I saw
your letter, I wnated to share with you: I've haqd asthma, respiroty, etc
most of my life (I'm 77 now). I've used various things to find what works
for me. Silver, magnets, accupuncture, reflexology, etc. About 3 years
ago, I started doing essential oils, long story short.I've been almost
free of asthma, respiritory infections, etc, (no I do not sell essential
oils). I got off my symbicort inhaler, I still use my rescue inhaler some.
In years gone by I have been in the hospital numerous times, predisons
became a common drug for me along with alot antibotics. Praise God, I
have't used predisone for 2 years now. If you are interested, please email
me. Kathy babychicks...@gmail.com

I've administered my home made product several times for my wife. Once for
Shingles a few years ago whereby she developed a rather rough cough, and again
a couple of months ago for another rather unrelated fluid cough. She won't
read this so I can say, she is not active enough, she reclines in a recliner
chair too much, hence I've told her she will eventually get Pneumonia if she
keeps it up. I believe worked on both cases in a couple of days. One of our
daughters had this same cough for quite some time before she got rid of it, the
wife got rid of it in a couple of days?

Around 15-20ppm, fill the little Nebuliser medication bowl thingo to 10ml with
straight EIS, used Nebuliser twice a day for a couple of days. The Shingle
cough took a little more time to get rid of, but I believe the EIS worked on
both cases.

The only "research" is from using myself and family members (if they wish to)
as a guinea pig , this is the only best way to find out things for myself
(or if they don't wish to).

Thank you for the repliesI know there is much debate about inhaling
silver. I wish there is more research or trial on this procedure. I have
asthma and get infections in the lungs.
Any info I get will help for my knowledge library folder.

Make your own salt inhaler(halotherapy)
Drill a couple dozen 1/16" holes in the bottom of a thick 16 oz. water bottle.
Fill about half with coarse himalayan salt crystals.
Suck the salt air through the bottle.
Works great and costs nothing!

U can nebulize 20 minutes 3-4 times a day until well, even more often if u feel
the need.

U can also add some MSM & a touch of DMSO to the silver for more effectiveness.

Hi Gary,
An excellent adjunct that Marc Fett at lymestrategies shared and we've used
with great success is to take a capsule of MSM, open it and drip in CS until
it's completely translucent. Then recap and place under tongue for at least 15
min (better 30). Keep tongue plastered to the roof of your mouth and your
taste-buds will barely notice. After the capsule has dissolved, swallow fast
and chase with juice. This is almost the equivalent of IV CS, by-passing the
gut which would diminish its efficacy.
Also, put CS in a nasal mister and snort it up into your sinuses, where nasty
things can lurk. It will resolve them and reduce any post-nasal issues.

Be well,
Léna
