..and mine, has you, being you, for me. Everything happens for a reason, usually unfathomable from this point of view, like a dogs tail pondering the dogs nose as it wags and both wondering about what smell is. Guessing is fun. Wonderingan occupation. Very entertaining. Think adventure By definition, an adventurer never knows what's next and winds up in the wildest situations for it. Back at the club...stories to tell, triumphs and loves and broken bones...you cannot not get back to the club. People want to know, Why don't I remember past and future lives? Well, do you remember what you had for breakfast last week on Tuesday? If the milk was sour in your Cheerios, or if strawberries magically appeared, you will remember more of that out of thousands of mundane meals. That has drama and drama makes better stories. Every event is recorded, the hologram has no memory limit, but it's re-call that makes the 'remember when' stories and builds characters. Scars, aches and pains...like bookmarks, reminders...a treasure of sorts. Re: CSCS gel other burn remedies
Why not? I mean with all the poisons in the environment that we are exposed to today, I dont think it would even be noticed, so go right ahead. Use cyanide. On the other hand, or rather reguarding the hand, if you have ever been close to a grill, hot from cooking, and realize the temp it is heated to, add grease, you have to have a lot of grease to block a grill, then along with the fact the residue from the block also holds grease and sticks to everythingits like wet sand, paints an ugly picture. I was looking at losing many layers of hide from my hand, which may well have meant I would even be off work for some days, which i could ill afford. I also had an experience when frying chicken at home one time, the grease, bubbling and very hot, splashed when a piece of chicken i was turning slipped from the tongs i used to turn them with, this splashed over my entire hand, even the tender backside, both cases i used bleach immediatly, didnt kill the pain, but i had NO EVIDENCE of a burn the next day, both cases would have scarred horribly had i not used bleach. I witnessed what grease burns untended will do, i saw a woman come into the emergency room once with severe grease burns, holding her hand, or the remains of it, in a tub of water, white skin floating all around it, i still remember hearing her screams in the waiting room, they scraped her hand to remove the majority of the burn. Whether it is an exhaust burn from a bike, or a severe sunburn that leaves you unable to wear clothes for days, yes foolish but we humans do this occasionally or grease spalshes on skin during cooking, or even from a motor, fire or whatever, bleach will reverse the damage if applied immediately, and in some cases at allas in sunburns when my daughter couldnt wear clothes the second day, i drew a bleach bath, she was fine in a few hours and attended school on monday just fine, no irritations. And yes, bleach isnt good for us, but how many of us have drank it in our water for most of our lives? or used it on floors and breathed the vapor, or washed clothes and had our hands in it? I didnt mean to use it inwisely, or everyday in these instructions, I would seriously hope if ever only once or twice, and God forbid you ever had a serious burn on a child, but if you did, would you prefer the scars? on your babies? Would you like to go have your hand scraped? Serious accidents call for serious remedies, sometimes silver cant work fast enough, bleach will! But in extreme burns, where scarring will occur, bleach will reverse all unripped or torn skin that was damaged by burn, and you WILL have a total healing within 24 HOURS, what else offers this? It is your choice Dee, I truly hope you never have a child that has a scarring burn, but if you ever do, or if you ever have a severe grease burn, it is your choice, you have every right in the world to endure very painful burns for days and to have the scars, they are yours, It is your choice. Though, honestly, I would seriously advise against the cyanide, its intended design was to kill. Dee d...@deetroy.org wrote: What about cyanide, or green tree frog poison? What else offers this healing for burns? Straight lavender essential oil, applied liberally to a burn will do the same thing--no evidence of burn the next day (or even in a couple hours) and it has the added benefit of stopping the pain almost immediately. Depending on the severity of a burn, I've had the same results from lavender oil diluted in apricot oil. The only time it took a while to stop the pain was when I branded my thumb on the lid handle of a roaster fresh from a 400 degree oven. In that case it took about 20 -30 min to stop the pain. Had a tiny bit of tenderness from that one for a few days, and it took a while for the deep brand line to grow out. Lavender essential oil does the same trick for bites and bruises. sol Lisa Shepherd wrote: I also had an experience when frying chicken at home one time, the grease, bubbling and very hot, splashed when a piece of chicken i was turning slipped from the tongs i used to turn them with, this splashed over my entire hand, even the tender backside, both cases i used bleach immediatly, didnt kill the pain, but i had NO EVIDENCE of a burn the next day, both cases would have scarred horribly had i not used bleach. Re: CSCS gel other burn remedies
- from grabbing a red-hot exhaust pipe on my home heater, from a splash of boiling oil, from scalding water. Each time, I bit my lip and put my hand back into the heat, either over the stove or in steaming hot water. Each time, the pain quickly disappeared. This mysterious burn remedy has worked every time. I have taught this technique to others, those few brave souls willing to believe me, and they have used it with equal success. A friend of mine who is an at-home jeweler used it after suffering a nasty burn, and he now swears by it, and has taught it to other jewelers in Taxco, Mexico. I have discussed this with hundreds of people, but only one said she had heard anything like it. She witnessed the incident as a child. She saw her grandfather, working on the family stove when it exploded in a ball of flame, thrust his badly burned hand and arm into a pot of water boiling on top of the stove to take away the pain. She, like Jonas Barrett, was African-American. Perhaps this is a clue to the source of this folk medicine remedy. In the intervening years I've devoted numerous hours thinking about this incident, and trying to analyze this miraculously improbable burn remedy. I believe the answer somehow lies in the release of the shock of the burn. By heating the surrounding flesh to near-burn intensity, the borderline between the burn and the surrounding flesh is erased, and this release somehow nullifies the pain. That's my theory, and I'm sticking to it. Over the years, I have wanted to present this strange but true story to the public to seek answers, and to let others know of its effectiveness. Hopefully, someone can provide the proper answers to this medical mystery. I have tried and tried but that no longer seems to be available...not in any store I have looked. One thing that I found helpful is honey. For years I earned my living as a Housekeeper/Cook. Lots of Burns come with that job:)...I must have just read about honey healing burns because when I touched the hot oven rack with the skin of my arm...it burned badly..and I automatically reached for the honey and poured it over my arm. At first I thought I had made a bad decision because the pain became worse..quite a bit worse. But in a minute it began to subside and cooled and I never scarred from a burn that really should have left a doozy. Healed beautifully. V. ** See what's free at http://www.aol.com.

Bleach is chlorine which can cause migraine headaches as it ties up O2. Been there after using it for several days in a row trying to get mold out of wood paneling in a bathroom. VERY severe migraine, kicking screaming variety. I had no idea I was sensitive but now I avoid all sources of chlorine, even filter my shower water when on city water. The nerve gas in WWII was Chlorine, a neurotoxin. Best to stay away from bleach IMHO. There are alternatives that are not toxic. Honey is indeed an ancient healing remedy. I generally reach for the aloe and DMSO but thanks for reminding me about honey. There are all kinds of great things in raw honey, hormones, minerals, etc. Oh and I love Lavender. It is great for wasp and insect stings. *I guess I can believe this but it was the old bleach ..without perfumes..right? V. Re: CSCS gel other burn remedies
In an emergency, when severe burns have occured, bleach it. Bleach reverses the entire burn event. I learned this when working as a short order cook, I was blocking the grill cleaning it and my hand slipped off the block, quite close to the front, it slid on the grill from front all the way to the back due to my momentum, i couldnt stop. When my co-worker saw this, she grabbed my arm and insisted I follow her to the sink, where she immediately submersed my hand in straight bleach. It still burned for awhile, quite intensly, but the next day you could not tell I'd had any kind of burn at all. for such a hot surface, im still impressed with bleach In later years, due to this experience, I have used bleach or a mild water bleach solution on many things. When sunburned, it heals it completely, even hours after the burn. The one down side I have found, the sunburn does not tan out after a bleach bath, usually a cup or 2 in a full bath works so if the person is burned in an attempt to suntan, they wont keep the tan if they bleach it. This isnt the best home remedynot natural, however I have never seen it fail to completely heal all burns entirely, no scaly skin later, no reddness the next day, nothing, it takes a few hours, but the burns heal completely everytime. No scarring whatsoever. Im sure in extreme cases or where the burn has removed skin prior to doing the bleach treatment, there would be some sore on the surface, or scarring if it were bad enough, but as long as the skin surface hasnt been compromised, it works everytime. Another tip, if you do have a burn, no matter what you treat it with, hemmoroid medicines kill the pain really well, so after a bleaching, dry the area lightly, and apply something like preperation H, and it fixes the whole problem. No pain, no scarring, no blisters. Hope my info has been of help to someone, godspeed. Lisa. Garnet garnetri...@granitepoint.net wrote: I use aloe vera and DMSO for burns. After an initial immediate application of both I strip out the aloe gel, mix with 50 -70% DMSO / CS liquid or 90% gel, although this is a high concentration. Then I compress on the burn area for about 20 minutes. I burned myself by splashing boiling refried beans on my wrist two weeks ago. It turned a little red after this treatment, but no blisters and no pain. Two weeks later the only evidence of the burn is a very slight sloughing of the skin, not even enough to notice unless you look closely.
