Hey Orrilia,

All I use this for isgeneral eye health. If my eyes are itchy/irritated, or if a stye is coming on or has already come up, or for conjunctivitis, I will put drops in my eyesseveral timesthroughout the day. Normally my eyes are fine the next day. But for styes and conjunctivitis, I will continue to use the dropsfor3 or 4days just to be sure I've gotten rid of all the infection.

I don't have cataracts, so I can't speak to how well it works for that, but I've read of others using DMSO+ CSand/or mixed with other supplements as a carrier. For instance, Brooks Bradley just posted a protocol using DMSOwithNAC (n-acetyl L-carnosine)for cataracts.

Hope this helps!
Ruth

Hey Mary,

Personally, I don't see why it wouldn't work nor that it would be harmful...
but I'm no expert by a long shot and would hate to give wrong advice!

Hopefully someone else can provide a definite answer to your question.

Re: CSEye Health Research Report

2009-07-15 Thread Sandee George
I tried the flaxseed oil however I found it to be too cathartic - my
eyes did not like it one little bit - I have used young coconut water,
as well as chrysanthemum floret's diluted in distilled water - this I
was given by a chinese medicine person - all of them appear to work
however if you do not use any of them regularly then the cataract re
grows, I have also used another product which is the enzyme formula
for storing contact lenses which has an enzyme for removing the
protein from the lenses which does the same for the cataract which is
nothing more than an over production of protein over the lense - so am
investigating yet another product which could work as well if not
better than those mentioned and used/experienced above.
I had photographs taken when in Australia some 2.5 years ago, I take
them with me when I go for a check up so that whom ever is looking at
my eyes today has a reference to compare with and thus far all have
not believed that the photos were taken of the eyes they are now
seeing - so this is my yardstick !
Take good care as we continue to find what works for each and every
one of us so we can all experience the best of personal health we
choose to have for ourselves.

Regards to all
Sandee

Astaxanthin.and it demonstrated to be the STAR in our Dry-type

Ruth's formula is about what I use also. I get a lot of dust and dirt from
mowing with the tractor and consequently get eye infections. This formula has
taken care of that problem. I do not have signs of cataracts as of last check

Hey Sandee,

Quite awhile back I read that it was safe to use 5% DMSO in your eyes, so I use
a mix of 5% DMSO to 95% CS (my own homemade) in my eyes all the time with no
negative side effects.

Hey Helen,

The total parts should add up to ten. So, 5% would be 1/2 part DMSO and 9 1/2
parts of CS. The parts can be any units of measure, such as teaspoons, ounces,
or whatever (even a baby food jar, bottle cap, dropperfuls, etc.) so long as
they add up to ten. Keep that in mind when determining how much you want to
make up at one time and deciding what your 'measuring tool' is cause you're
gonna end up with ten times the amount of what your measuring tool is.

Oh yeah, and always add the DMSO to the CS or distilled water. This has
something to do with heat exchange and I'm not technically qualified to try and
explain that. grinBut you always add the chemical to the water.

Hope this helps and isn't too foncusing!

CSEye Health Research Report

2009-07-14 Thread Brooks Bradley
Because of the quite positive results we have achieved in some limited, but
definitive, investigationsI am moved to call two supporting substances to the attention of list members. From among a number of candidates addressed in searching for the most economical/effective modalities for attenuating/preventing cataracts.we achieved our best---and most rapid success using NAC (n-acetyl L-carnosine)..for cataract presentations. This substance, in mild solution, (amended with low-percentage DMSO [ 5%] by volume)...effected very powerful
beneficial influence upon the cross-linked proteins which cause the clouding of the normally
clear tissue fields (i.e. cataracts). This simple protocol yielded (in our view) splendid,
non-invasive, results.for literallypennies. Very positive benefits were achieved in ALL of the early-onset presentations and sufficient improvement in 80% of the ADVANCED PRESENTATIONS.to avoid or postpone surgical interventions.
The second substanceone relating to age related macular degeneration (ARMD) we found to be of positive effect, was a pigment occurring in a marine form of Red Algae. Actually, it is a carotenoid and related to both lutein and beta-carotene in structure.but exhibits more powerful antioxidant effects. It is a natural dye occurring in such red algae as Gigartina.
