Oh, and the fact that periodically the QNAP system updates would break LMS. And the fact that SSOTS is no longer maintained (and there was that Bash vulnerability). Also, using the Pi means that I can use Spotty. The versatility of the Squeezebox system continues to impress. At home I have a Touch, two Radios and two Raspberry Pi players streamed from LMS running on a Raspberry Pi3 with the music library on a QNAP NAS. In my office I have LMS running on a Western Digital WiFi enabled Passport 2Tb drive, with a Raspberry Pi as a player. All my Raspberry Pi devices are using piCorePlayer, and all work very well. Many thanks for that. I've just realised that I don't see anything below the line in my dropdown list of players because my 2nd LMS server doesn't yet have any players linked to it! itm's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=17437 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=108244 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

Another vote for going with the Pi here :) I still have my Qnaps, really stuck with them because of Squeezebox Server The Pi still uses them as the storage, works magic, and with the Spotty App, Spotify works great as well Since using the Pi, I have allowed them (the Qnaps) all to do their updates and LMS has gone ... on them PHAZBLADE's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=67096 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=108207 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

Depends on the player. The Booms and Classic, press and hold the left rocker button till it bumps, then scroll to the server you wish to connect to. Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] How to downgrade a plugin?
(How) is it possible to downgrade a plugin to a previous release if you find that an update breaks your setup? Get in touch with its author: - first of all to report the issue and ask him for a fix - second to ask him where to get the old version Because there's no one response to your question. Most authors probably leave copies of the old files on their server. But some might remove them. -- Michael ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter
Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] How to downgrade a plugin?
It is not possible on a per user basis except via a manual update and you have to get the old revision. It is better to report the issue to plugin developer and get the plugin updated. bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=108240 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter
