What are you running 7.9.1 on and what browser are you accessing the server with? I too am running 7.9.1 on Windows Home Server 2011, accessing via Edge on Win10 Pro 1803 and the Plugin tab is working fine in this configuration. Also have 7.9.1 installed on the Win10 Pro 1803 machine and again using Edge the Plugin tab is working fine. Tested accessing both these servers using Chrome and IE and Plugins shows fine in both browsers. Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Latest LMS nightly (10-19-18) not working - port 9000 error
Debian version (in a VM on ESXi 6.5U2): Code: Debian GNU/Linux buster/sid \n \l Oookay. I managed to interrupt unattended upgrades in time to avoid update. So on the 8 October Debian status with LMS 7.9.1, stuff works. Even after a reboot of Debian. I suspect that the Debian upgrade will break things. Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Latest LMS nightly (10-19-18) not working - port 9000 error
My earlier post was wrong: It MAY BE the Debian updates that are breaking things, not the update to LMS 7.9.2. Debian unattended upgrades was updating in the background. So: - Debian unattended upgrades runs - but _no_reboot_of_Debian_ - I disable a couple plugins (TrackStat, TrackStat Playlists, UPNP, Entfernte Musiksammlungen) in LMS - I stop LMS service. Then I do: Code: sudo /usr/sbin/squeezeboxserver --d_startup which says: Code: Found SELinux - setting security context to: texrel_shlib_t for *.so files. I removed Optware and QLMS 1.09a, rebooted, and reinstalled just QLMS2.0.10 (no Optware). 2 significant problems. 1. The servers are in constant fight for the players. By that I mean that the players connect to server A, but then immediately say they are connecting to server B (but they do not). This is happening every few seconds. I am having to stop one server to prevent this conflict. TBH, I did see this behaviour with 1.09a and gave up trying to fix it. If I stop either one of the servers, the other works fine. I wonder if this is a network problem, so unless someone has seen it before, I will continue to investigate. 2. I cannot get MUSICIP s to start on either machine. MUSICIP plugin is installed and activated. I checked QLMS.conf and MUSICIP was set to 0, so I set it to 1. Restarted. Mo Musicip. No reference to MUSICIP in the QLogitecMediaServer.log. If you recall, I never had an issue with MIP before (early tester). Maybe I forgot to do something? Thanks for any help - your hard work is much appreciated. yeomanspc's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=249 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=108292 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

Sync with radio is not the same as sync with albums. IIRC sync may not be wholly accurate as time goes along as "live" streams cannot be resynced between players. If you sync a player which is playing a direct stream (i.e. one which player can play natively e.g. MP3,WMA, AAC for Touch) with another player - you will have to restart as initially a direct stream will be playing direct from station to Radio wherea with syncing - streaming has to be routed through LMS. bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109706 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

So it is something with the new 7.9.2 that breaks, not a Debian update. Could you please try to run LMS manually from a shell? BBC uses AAC which requires transcoding for Boom and not for Touch. Do you sync players before starting to play a stream or after ? If after which player is playing first ? bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109706 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

It's been a while but renaming "baby.version" didn't resolve the issue. Recently I am finding my scans for new music are also failing. [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Cannot synchronise Radio playback: audio stops when synchronise
I have been running LMS for many years, currently with LMS on NAS, with no issues. Playing from my music collections works fine and synchronised playing works fine. Current version is: Logitech Media Server Version: 7.9.1 - 1504317335 @ Mon Sep 4 22:13:00 UTC 2017 *Issue: *Everything was working fine however I now have an issue with Synchronising (I think only with certain e.g. BBC) radio stations (is that possible or is the particular station a red herring?). *Issue Symptoms: * I try to synchronise radio, all devices show it IS playing as normal with seconds counting up through the track however, the sound output stops as soon as I click synchronise. I have reviewed setup and incl. factory reset a device and restarted LMS and checked logs and nothing hints at the reason. Whilst I am technically aware I don't understand enough about the workings to trouble-shoot further. Is there something obvious I am missing? Any hints welcome! cristom's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=68641 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109706 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter
[SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Tips for frequent Connection / Disconnection NAS Synology LMS and Duet
Hi I use Squeezepad v1.11.6 on my iPad Pro to control playback via my DUET When I am playing music from my NAS Synology running LMS (beta 7.9.1-168), the app frequently connects/disconnects Any tips of things to check? The NAS is directly wired to the Router, the iPad uses the WiFi of course to run the app Thanks GuyManning's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10300 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109704 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

We could then try to nail down the offensive Debian update, perhaps? (I suspect Perl of course ...) Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Did Pandora stop working for anyone else?
just uploaded log file. running LMS 7.9.1. During the log period, I tried to play a station on Pandora, would fail a couple of times, then play eventually. Then I'd change to another station and sometimes it would play immediately. Eventually changed to other stations where it would take 2 or 3 songs before I could get a song to play. Unfortunately I didn't see anything particularly helpful in your log file :-(. I see that it failed a few times before finally starting playback. But as for the reason, I have no clue. I thought it might be http vs. https related, as most streaming services are moving to using secured connections. But this does not seem to be the problem here. -- Michael ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter
Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Latest LMS nightly (10-19-18) not working - port 9000 error
LMS stopped working for me (not accessible via HTTP nor via Radio/Boom/Squeezeplayer) on Debian testing over the last weekend. Reinstalling 7.9.2 did not help.
