Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] No local music and errors when scanning
Still fine this morning. So I guess that the problem were caused by possibly time-outs because of sleeping hdd? > On 3 Dec 2018, at 21:13, rkrug > wrote: > > > True - but it would detect errors in the file structure itself, i.e. by > an unclenches unmount. > > Anyway - a scan now, with these commands removed, was successful - let's > see if it stays like that. > > Rainer > > > > rkrug's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=62249 > View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109824 > > ___ > Squeezecenter mailing list > Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com > http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter -- Rainer M. It's nothing plugin related, I already checked that. My guess still stands that it would disappear with Audio::Scan 1.02 for x64. But as it's just a minor thing (not even a problem, really) and it happens only once a month when I do a cache wipe, I can live with it. No, I have not noticed any artwork-rescan. It seems to scan it once - I just checked that with my full database. But - I have all my artwork embedded into the .mp3 files, and there are very few other .jpg hanging around my music library. Having said that - I have messed around with the plugins - removed quite a few that come out-of-the box from the @digimaster install files, and then added some directly out of the LMS Server Setting - Plugins Page. My suggestion: the .QLMS.conf file contains the option 'FAILSAFE=0' - try to change that once to =1 and then restart the server. This will not load any plugins - so it should be easy to identify if the artwork re-scan is caused by the server or by a plugin. And, as mentioned before - I am not a Linux expert - just poking around in the dark with a stick - hoping not to break anything in the process. (or then having to re-install LMS again - which I did s many times in the past already..) I wish you good luck with finding the cause of the rescan. Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] No local music and errors when scanning
True - but it would detect errors in the file structure itself, i.e. by an unclenches unmount. Anyway - a scan now, with these commands removed, was successful - let's see if it stays like that. Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] No local music and errors when scanning
I think the fsck.ext4 "-f" just checks the file structure & allocation of blocks - not whether the files are readable. bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109824 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter
Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] No local music and errors when scanning
Just done a Code: fsck.ext4 -f and everything OK. I had the following commands at boot: Code: /home/tc/hdparm -B 127 /dev/sda /home/tc/hdparm -S 240 /dev/sda which I now removed and deleted the cache and library files. Let's see what happens. rkrug's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=62249 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109824 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

Hi again SyrinxGC Yes, Daphile will use your inbuilt DVD drive for CD ripping with automated tagging and cover art etc, and using AccurateRip comparisons.
