Hi guys, updated now to LMS8.2 and using 8 Receivers, some with controllers, some via App. And one Classic. In server logs ist written that I have to use Version comparison fix too. Even if I dont use a Radio! I could install "Patch installer" as an Controller applet. But after install + restart there ist no comparison fix in Patch installers list. Are there more actions needed? [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Ogg not playing as expected using Inguz EQ
Inguz runs everything through a filter, so all formats need decoding on the server. I have mostly FLAC and MP3, but also a few M4A and OGG. LMS filetypes are set to disabled for Ogg "Native" and instead play using "sox" (see below). This is similar to the settings for other formats above. Unfortunately, the Ogg files do not play unless I set filetypes back to Ogg "Native" which circumvents Inguz EQ. Any idea on what is going wrong here and how to fix it? (Is it possible that the version of sox bundled with LMS 8.3 does not support playback of Ogg?) Thanks. As you, I use ; to include all of them in a song. - When I have a compilation album. Here LMS gets an only album author by default. What I did is change this behaviour for LMS to include all authors. When doing this much more authors appeared in my LMS list. I have to use MyMusic>Artists (not the option you explained me) because I use mhergers Spotty. Spotty works with MyMusic>Artistis for using the Browse on Spotify option. It is very powerful because gets several lists from an author. [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] [picoreplayer] LMS failing to start
LMS is failing to start with picoreplayer. I have the Autostart option selected but when I access the LMS tab it shows LMS not running. If I use the Start LMS or Restart LMS buttons, the page temporarily shows LMS running but when I refresh it shows LMS not running again. I've tried rebooting the picoreplayer but still get the same results. So today I have tried a different ssd and usb caddy, permissions in Samba set to 0666, no Set Write Permissions etc - exactly the same result. I have reset everything but removed Samba, all working nicely again. Probably its not really helping, but I am using alarm on my boom since day 1. Alarm volume has always worked for me and it still does (8.2.0). Apparently it's not a general problem. Maybe it depends on the source. I am listening to a mp3 radio stream. Or it might be a Plugin. I have a real simple usecase and the only two plugins I use are Spotty and 'Date and Time'.
