I might also try updating the Win 10 with 8.3 to the latest beta because the 8.3 also has a problem with stalling on tracks from my library and on tracks from Tidal. Thank you so much! You have solved my issue! I had previously looked at the basic setting menu. There are two check boxes that are in the screen area around the location of the Music folder, but neither is labeled with text. I confirmed this with my wife, who can see, because sometimes my screen reader misses things on web pages. She unchecked one of the unlabeled boxes, and my issue is fixed!!! I think this is a bug in the interface of the version of LMS I am running. The "default" skin showed the same problem. But, my Win7 computer is now back from the shop and version 8.1.1 rather than 8.2.0 has no such missing text. Basic setting shows check boxes for "video" AND "PICTURES". Sorry about not having given the contents of D:\AllData\SqueezeBox\Library. It shows only the following subfolders: Classical Country Instrumental Jazz Miscellaneous Ragtime Rock Soundtrack Video Vivian Music Collection Vocal Note that the "Video" folder does not actually have any videos. It has MP3 files of TV shows. Just now, I renamed this folder Soul, and rescanned the library. There was no change. The items that show up in the Music folder of LMS are: Library [Pictures] [Videos] Thanks for any help. I unsuccessfully tried to fix my music folder issue by selecting the properties of the library folder with Windows File Explorer, and selecting "optimize for music" in the customize tab. I also selected "apply to subfolders". Then I rescanned the library with LMS. There is no change. Could anyone straighten me out? Many thanks again! To disable content types there should be check boxes for music, video etc next to the folder name. Untick all boxes except music. "LMS > Settings > Basic Settings > Media Folders (make sure to check the appropriate boxes for content type included in those folders)" I do not find any content type check boxes in this menu. Am I missing it? Michael, I am pretty sure my music folder is set to the correct place. I even asked my wife (who is not blind) to look at that setting in my Basic Settings menu, just to be sure that something was not escaping my observation. Where can I "disable video/photo integration"? I have looked all over for such a setting. I do not prefer one change with the new LMS setup. When I explore my local disc collection under Music Folder, there is an additional level with the names: Library, Pictures, and Videos. I am not sure if this change is due to the new version of LMS, or due to changing from Win7 to Win10. Please check your music folder settings. Make sure it really is pointing at your music folder only. All, I have been running Logitech Media Server under all of its names for many years. Recently, the Win7 computer running LMS died. I think the version was 7.9 or later. I have now installed version 8.2.1 on a Win10 computer. It runs fine. I do not prefer one change with the new LMS setup. When I explore my local disc collection under Music Folder, there is an additional level with the names: Library, Pictures, and Videos. I am not sure if this change is due to the new version of LMS, or due to changing from Win7 to Win10. Is there a method for removing this extra layer of navigation? FYI, I am blind and use the light menu skin. I have always preferred navigating my music using folder Hierarchy FOR genres rather than using tags embedded in the files.
