It literally solves my problem. Before this feature, I would generate the songs from my recording software, which happens on my local drive in the band folder. I then have to copy them to my music server and rescan the folder in LMS, find the songs, add them to a playlist and play... but not any more... I can just drag them onto the screen, listen to them and then the two days later do the same with the new songs. Best feature ever! I use the "new music" list for stuff like this. Thank you! I have my Logitech server pointing here for playlist: /mnt/share/Music/Playlists which is really a NAS that for my windows machine has a different directory. When use the browse button in the Logitech media server, I can see the folder. Once I scan, the playlist come up in my list, but for some reason, when I click on them, the songs in my jriver playlist, don't appear in the Logitech media server list so basically I have playlist, but the songs aren't available. In Jriver, what setting do you use to export the playlist? I've attached mine. You can add tracks to, or delete tracks from a playlist, then save the playlist. Assuming JRiver is on a Windows PC, then the file paths won't be the same as those as required by LMS on your max2play install. I do this myself, create a playlist with JRiver, and edit the file paths in Notepad.
