[pfSense Support] R: [pfSense Support] Load Balancer Behaviour?
Furthermore, looking at the routing table the WanMonitorIpAddress and the Wan2MonitorIpAddress share the same gateway, the default gateway. I think that it's not a visualization problem, It really doesn't fetch the interfaces when adding a Load Balancer Pool. 10x in advance. r3N0oV4 -Messaggio originale- Da: Quirino Santilli Inviato: venerdì 20 aprile 2007 10.15 A: 'support@pfsense.com' Oggetto: R: [pfSense Support] Load Balancer Behaviour? Ok, I updated and the issue solved, but now when adding a Load Balancer Pool in the list field I see something strange: on my howto the list format is WAN|(WanMonitorIpAddress) and WAN2|(Wan2MonitorIpAddress). On my firewall installation the results are different, the list field is in that format: |(WanMonitorIpAddress) and |(Wan2MonitorIpAddress). It seems like that the Interfaces in the resulting config is missing. Even when I look at the load balancer's list the Server/Gateway field is empty and the monitor field has no corresponding interface. [pfSense Support] problem upgrading version 1.0 - wrong signatures in dowloaded iso.tgz
Dear Sirs, I'd like to upgrade from version 1.0 to 1.01 using the web interface System:Firmware:Manual Update, but when I upload the file pfSense-1.0.1-LiveCD-Installer.iso.gz (taken from various mirror) always get the error message of wrong signature. It this correct? -- Antonio Rossi
[pfSense Support] Can't boot from last Embedded Snapshot
Hello! My steps: 1.- A new CF card (in order to minimize my out-of-service time) 2.- Download http://snapshots.pfsense.com/FreeBSD6/RELENG_1/embedded/pfSense.img.gz 3.- gunzip pfSense.img.gz 4.- Replace config.xml at pfSense.img (with my last config.xml saved) using replace_conf.sh from http://forum.pfsense.org/index.php/topic,1998.0.html 5.- Resize pfSense.img to 1024 MByte (for my new CF) using mkflash_new.sh http://pfsense.org/cgi- bin/cvsweb.cgi/~checkout~/tools/builder_scripts/mkflash_new.sh? rev=1.1;content-type=application%2Fx-sh 6.- Write pfSense-1024MB.img.gz to my new CF. 7.- Shutdown / Turn Off / Extract Old CF / Put New CF / Turn On I can't boot. My box sees the CF card as ad2. Is a FabiaTech FX5620 from http://linitx.com/product_info.php?cPath=4products_id=909 Is it possible that Embedded image only works for ad0 ? If yes, how to change it before writting my CF ? I need to change to the last Snapshot for VPN stability, please help! RE: [pfSense Support] Can't boot from last Embedded Snapshot
You don't need to resize the flash image to match your cf card. The replace_conf.sh script I wrote and I use it all the time with snapshots. You might try just writing the snapshot image to your cf card and booting it without all the extras to see if it works. Then add back in your config, test, then resize the image if you still want to. -Original Message- From: Josep Pujadas i Jubany [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Friday, April 20, 2007 9:50 AM To: pfSense Subject: [pfSense Support] Can't boot from last Embedded Snapshot Hello! RE: [pfSense Support] problem upgrading version 1.0 - wrong signatures in dowloaded iso.tgz
that's because its the wrong file. that's the ISO image for burning the installer to CD. you want pfSense-Full-Update-1.0.1.tgz or one of the snapshots. -Sean Date: Fri, 20 Apr 2007 17:10:17 +0200From: [EMAIL PROTECTED]: [EMAIL PROTECTED]: [pfSense Support] problem upgrading version 1.0 - wrong signatures in dowloaded iso.tgzDear Sirs,I'd like to upgrade from version 1.0 to 1.01 using the web interface System:Firmware:Manual Update, but when I upload the file pfSense-1.0.1-LiveCD-Installer.iso.gz (taken from various mirror) always get the error message of wrong signature. RE: [pfSense Support] helo there
Also, keep your PPTP addresses in the same subnet as your file server. If you don't, you'll have to go into some advanced routing... -Tim -Original Message- From: Chris Buechler [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Friday, April 20, 2007 7:33 AM To: support@pfsense.com Subject: Re: [pfSense Support] helo there Arthur Mitchell wrote: Hi my name is Arthur and i have a problem setting up my pfsense pptp server i get it working but i want clients to acces my network and if been struggeling for three weeks so how do i foward my server's add to a local lan add to open a windows file server? Remove the members of the pool and re-add them.
