[ANN] PrefBar 5.1
Hello, after a longer break, PrefBar 5.1 is available, now. One reason for the longer waiting time is, that I wanted to wait for PrefBar being accepted on addons.mozilla.org: https://addons.mozilla.org/de/seamonkey/addon/67148/ Some new features are: * New feature Copy button (right click on a button in PrefBar customize window and choose Copy. This makes it easier to create own versions of built-in buttons. * PrefBar menu now is a toolbar button, which may be placed to anywhere, you like (using browser built-in toolbar customize feature). * Clearall button has been modified to contain some more options to clear stuff. They are all commented out in the button onClick code. To enable them, use the new Copy button feature, to create your own copy, then doubleclick the copy to edit, switch to onClick tab and uncomment as desired. The new release also contains many bug fixes. For a full list of changes, have a look at the Changelog: http://prefbar.mozdev.org/help/newstuff.html#v5.1 To install and update, you may use this link: http://prefbar.mozdev.org/installation.html (forwards to addons.mozilla.org, but the script behind this link detects the browser, you use, and forwards to the *right* destination) I've also updated the screenshots, to show the current state: http://prefbar.mozdev.org/screenshots.html Yours Manuel XPost to mozilla.support.firefox F'up to mozilla.support.seamonkey I usually don't read mozilla.support.firefox, so don't expect answers there ___ support-seamonkey mailing list support-seamonkey@lists.mozilla.org https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/support-seamonkey
Re: View, Zoom percentage
That addon needs to be updated for SeaMonkey v2.0. It is still at v1.93.2.1 and https://urandom.ca/nosquint/ shows v2.0.4 (10/24/2009). Its release notes show a lot of fixes. :( On 6/6/2010 1:54 PM PT, Pat Connors typed: You can either use David's suggestion or try installing an add-on such as No Squint via xsidebar http://xsidebar.mozdev.org/modifiedmisc.html#nosquint There are, I believe, one or two other addons that are similar, but I think No Squint may be what you are looking for. It has both global settings and exceptions, that way you can have specific web pages act a certain way. And if you use No Squint, kudos should go out to Philip for the mod and the original author of the add-on. -- An ant can do more than an ox that is lying down. --unknown /\___/\ Phil./Ant @ http://antfarm.ma.cx (Personal Web Site) / /\ /\ \Ant's Quality Foraged Links: http://aqfl.net | |o o| | \ _ /If crediting, then use Ant nickname and AQFL URL/link. Excluding attachments from the saved copy of outgoing mail
Hi, The subject says it all: when I send an e-mail with a big attachement I'd like it (the attachment) not to be saved in the Sent folder. Is there a pref allowing to systematically exclude attachments from saved copies, or can this be done on an individual basis? Re: Strange effect of mouse movement using SM 2.0.4 on webgame
Paul wrote: krazy650 wrote: I been playing Zynga Texas Holdem Poker on Facebook for some time now but had been using IE-8 for Facebook due to Farmville problems. Yesterday I had been checking my email using Seamonkey 2.0.4 on my XP Sp3 system AMD 2400+ Athlon XP, 2gig ram computer and jumped to Facebook via a link in email, not thinking about I continued on to play poker using SM. Now the weird part is that the only way I could get the game to play smoothly was to continuely move the mouse. If I stopped moving it the video would lock but audio would continue on with no problem and as soon as I moved the mouse the video would catch up to game play. I have the latest version of Adobe Flashplayer v10 installed for SM and all drivers and other software is up to date. Anybody got any ideas what would cause this. After finishing first in a nine player shootout tournament I switched to IE-8 to play the next round of play and had no further problem with game play. Is this a SM problem with Flashplayer or Facebook or what? Any Ideas? Facebook and SM do not get along together as well as FB and IE. You did not specify what vid card you have, but the rest of the components are low end for anything flash. Maybe time to upgrade. Video is a VIA/SG3 UniChrome IGP 64Meg. Yes I know this is a low end system but after being out of work for over a year now no new system in sight. I also have Google Chrome, Realplayer and Safari installed and have no problem with either of them and Safari even uses the same version of Flashplayer. I really like using SM for mail and as a browser because of several of the add-ons that are available for it but hate the fact that it seems to be a resource hog, the only thing I don't use SM for is newsgroups for those I use WinVN v0.99.15.0. I thought that upgrading from 512 meg of ram to 2 gig would help and has but not as expected for SM. I did find reference made on another computer tech group to Adobe Flashplayer troubleshooting page where Adobe recommends uninstalling all previous versions of FP and reinstalling the latest available version. I might give this a try if any of you guru's think it will do any good and be a help with SM. -- Big Bill ___ support-seamonkey mailing list support-seamonkey@lists.mozilla.org https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/support-seamonkey
