That appears to be your Local Folders and the Account Name has been
changed to Bozo2000. It cannot and should not be deleted.

I never before had my "account name" and then my "Account
n...@whtever.com" before.
Do you understand ?
Does YOUR mail have this same thing ?
I don't believe I can explain it any better

What information pops up when you right click on it?
Do you have a "Local Folders"?
Can you change the folder name to Local Folders?

A menu pops up - I went to 'setting' -> gives me same as in left
picture above (link).

So...I gather that that account 'should be' labelled "Local Folders".
OK !

I went to it (settings) and WAS ALLOWED to change the account name to
"local
folders".

I left it that way.

I do not know how it got named with the same name of my mail account
sans the "@xxmail.com".

Ah so - the mysteries of having a computer.

I was wondering if I should delete ALL my mail accounts and begin
again !?

Why?
If there is mail in the Local Folders Folders, then just left click and
drag them to
where you want them.

Looks Like all he has to do, should have done initially is, jut rename
the account in question. The account name is just a *label* that is
displayed in the left pane. You can label an account anything like
"foobar bazoom" if you wish.

DoctorBill, to get what I think you originally wanted, in Mail &
Newsgroups Account Settings

1) Select your currently labeled "Bozo2000" and change the Account Name
field back to "Local Folders"

2) Select account named "bozo2...@tutmail.com" and change the Account
Name field to "Bozo2000"

3) As Paul said if there is any messages in "Local Folders" that you
wish to be in "Bozo2000" just drag and drop them wherever you want.

DB, is the "Special Account" in a similar location to your other mail
account or is it somewhere totally different??

The reason I ask is that, some time ago, I received an e-mail with a
Virus attached. When my Anti-Virus scanned the file with all my
e-mails
(and their attachments), it found the virus and moved my entire
e-mail file into its "secure" location which, of course, meant I
couldn't get to my other e-mails.

What I had to do was to go into my anti-virus program, to its "secure"
location (I think AVG calls it their "Vault"), get the e-mail file
returned to its correct location, and then, in SeaMonkey, empty trash
(File->Empty Trash) and compact my e-mail account (File-> Compact
Folders) to get rid of the Virus . and then re-scan my entire
computer to ensure the Virus was gone.

If you have re-started SeaMonkey after the Inbox has been removed,
SeaMonkey will have created a new, empty, inbox, etc., so before you
move the old Inbox back to its original location, make sure you
re-name
the new files to something different so you don't copy the old files
over the new files and lose your new e-mails.

Hope this helps!

This "almost duplicate" mail account says this when I look at it in
"Settings":
"The following is a special account. There are no identities associated
with it"
Has no Server Settings, Disk Space, Security, Junk Space, etc below the
account name

when I look in "Settings"
I cannot get rid of it !

Mail has gone to it though ! That is why I wanted to transfer those
mails back to

the normal account (see previous earlier explanations).

Damned odd ! No one seems to know what this 'thing' is !
I am making "Screenshots" - will post on a Hosting Web Site and let you
see them -

later today.after I edit out personal data ! Got's ta go, however.
