I agree. Since coming back from his vacation KaiRo has stopped biting
peoples heads off every time they breath the wrong way. I mean he was

Wait till you retire. Then you get no vacations. I haven't been on a
Vacation since I had to retire under disability in 1991.

My recommendation to all is die with your boots on. Stay hunched over
that computer, or keep that soldering iron in your hand until the last
drop of life goes out. Retirement is no fun after the first year.

The problem is money. If you have money. But living in Social Security,
you lucky to just pay your bills. Just like I'd love to get a new laptop
but in order to do so I'll have to pull funds out of my retirement. My
vehicle is a 1991 with no dream of getting another.

Ah. Understood, and sorry to hear that - being broke sucks. Being SE my
entire career, and having _no_ faith whatsoever in SS, I did a pretty
good job of saving on my own along the way, and so find myself now in
good shape, with SS and my wife's GE pension still around the corner. -JW

FF 3.5.5 was a very short-cycle crash-fix-only release and we didn't
have the resources to create an update at that time (mostly because our
only build and release engineer, that is my humble self, was just about
to go into a vacation), so we still went with the regularly scheduled
security update as a base, which is today's FF 3.5.6 release.

And that's why SeaMonkey 2.0.1 has been in testing mode for about a week
now and just was made public (it's pretty normal to have 1-2 weeks of
testing phase before we make a release public, so that we can catch any
unexpected problems that might still be in the release builds).

Robert Kaiser

You actually have time for vacation?? :-)

I just update to 2.0.1 seems to cleared up a problem I turned into
Bugzilla a week or two ago.

So all these people talking about SM 2.0.1 are using the nightlies? I think you
must be right, but this is not generally apparent from the way they talk.

That's because they'll both be released *today*. ;-)

The people already using 2.0.1 are those who installed the latest 2.0.1
release candidate which now that no new release candidate will be
released, is exactly what will be released as 2.0.1 later today (well
most probably that is, only KaiRo knows for sure). Release candidates
cannot be distinguished from final versions because the last of the
former will always be released as the latter, unchanged.

Its a release candidate that we were asked to test, should be released
today I think.
