Besides the bug that WLS wrote about, try turning off any anti-virus program(s) you may have running and try the Update again. It might be a firewall program, too. These are guesses. :-) I see your screenshot, and I make these guesses because of "contact your network provider". Whatever would the network provider have to do with the choice of browser? Sorry for the trouble John, The issue was corrected for about a month before the security certificate we use on the update server was changed. The first SeaMonkey to support the new update certificate was 2.3.1 You were (likely) not actually experiencing a "trick" here, and can correct this by installing our official "hotfix" extension, (link below), and then should be able to upgrade that same way again. Alternatively you can visit our website http://www.seamonkey-project.org directly and download the newest version there.
