Hi, When you have advance options disabled (when you install Window-eyes fresh) you only get a small number of features displayed in the Window-eyes control panel. If you enable advance options you have access to every feature in Window-eyes from within the control panel. For example default you have 7 items in the settings tree, when advance is on you have 13. If you set it to not speak, sometimes it will speak when you type a punctuation mark. But come to think of it, I think lately, that only seems to happen if you are backspacing it out.
