I still have a DOS machine though it's hard drive is showing its age. I got the machine in 1993 and it still gives me the correct date, time, et al. No viruses and I still throw a few balls at it for giggles. It still has the 5.25-inch floppy disk--yikes, time to kick the rebel out of camp, eh? I have used this screenreader right from the start, in fact when it was called Vocal-eyes and used to provide access to DOS - this must be providing some clues to my age! But I've never regretted my choice. Alison ___ Any views or opinions presented in this email are solely those of the author and do not necessarily represent those of Ai Squared. Re: Ranking Screen Readers In Windows10 Anniversary Update: TheResults Will Surprise You!
I had a little bit of experience with vocal eyes, but since it was not my first dos screenreader, I was not too comfortable with it. When I got my windows computer, I had window bridge. I had to get a replacement screenreader, so I got window eyes. It saddens me that there are so many people, especially here in the UK, who don't know about Window-eyes' existence.
