I got someone to read the dialogue that is there from time to time when Window-Eyes stops talking. It says Window-Eyes has stopped working. This is on Windows 8.1. The Window-Eyes hot key to call it up does not work until I get rid of that dialogue. Also when this comes up there isn't an error report generated. I press the spacebar, because focus is on the OK button. If it doesn't work, I press alt+tab then the spacebar. After this pressing control+alt+W to call up WE usually works. At work, using Outlook 2010, windows 7 and WE 8.4, I sometimes have this happen. It seems to be less frequent for some reasons lately. What I see is that the spell checker window opens but nothing populates in it. That is where Outlook and WE both freeze and Outlook will only allow me to either wait for a response, which I've tried and doesn't work or allows me to restart it. I'm using a bit of vision to see this message option when I hit alt F4 to try to cancel out. The only thing I can figure is that this freeze happens if I hit Control S to send a message too quickly after typing the message. Maybe I trained my body to pause before sending and that's why I'm getting the crash less often. If I do restart Outlook, WE will start speaking again, but I have lost the message I typed, which has made me scream a few times. So, if you hang and you are using Outlook, try hitting Alt F4 then tabbing once then hitting enter. If you are getting the same problem I have gotten, this may kill Outlook and have it restart, thus allowing WE to start speaking again. Hi, This problem happens from time to time on my system as well. Sometimes speech will come back itself aafter a minute or so but you can try a right mouse click.. This action seems to shock the system and the speech can start again. If this does not work then restart WE with the alt control W command. HTH Neville.
