Hi,
This problem happens from time to time on my system as well. Sometimes
speech will come back itself aafter a minute or so but you can try a
right mouse click.. This action seems to shock the system and the
speech can start again.
If this does not work then restart WE with the alt control W command.

I'm sorry, I didn't catch who you were sending the message to. I have had
success doing a Control-alt-w to wake up Window-Eyes or doing an alt-tab and
then alt-tab again to see if anything talks. I don't think you have to
re-boot the whole system. It's kind of like picking up a dropped stitch,

When sending 2 emails today, my speech just stopped and of course, I had no
