RE: [StationPlaylist] problem with window eyes app

2016-08-28 Thread AndrewDS via Talk
Hello , try changing keyboard layout in settings.
I'm set to Zoom Text Fusion.
I check time with keystroke insert + f 12, which gives both time & date.
Keystroke Control + ALT + X closes SPL ok.
As for those other keystrokes, I haven't used them as of yet. I hope this
works for you ODD

hello all
i am using the latest version of station playlist standard edition.
and i am using window eyes 9.5.1.
with windows 7
and the stationplaylsit app latest version.

unfortunatly my stationplaylist app for window eyes does not work
properly.
for instance: if i press insert-t i get the date instead of the time.
the function alt-shift-j does normally gives you the information about
the time the playlist will last, does not work.
alt-shift-k does not work either.
and for some reason controll-alt-x to close the programm does not work
as well.
so what's wrong here?

I usually get those beeps, if it's the ones I'm thinking of that sound
almost like an old Atari 2600 ame, as I'm closing a web browsing session
with Internet Exploder. The tones are then followed by the death of
Window-Eyes and even NVDA can't read whateer messagecomes up. Te again Iam
running version 8.4 on a rather slow Toshiba laptop running Windows Vista
32-bit. I've also ahd tis machhine going on seven years now so it's probably
understandable that it'd be slow.

I have noticed this from time to time. I have Window-Eyes set not to start
before Windows. The last couple of time I got the beeps were when Window-
Eyes tried to load before start-up, and the three beeps occurred after
Window-Eyes tried to load. After hearing the Windows start-up sound,
Window-Eyes loaded normally as expected. I will try to observe carefully
what happens the next time I hear the three beeps.

The only time I got three beeps, and they were definitely different tones
from one another, is when I was having a problem with window eyes and my
email. I would be in the middle of a message, and I would get these three
tones, one a third octave a, another a fifty octave e, and the other one
went by so fast I missed what it was. But after that, window eyes would
die. But this was before window eyes nine. Pam.

Hi it turns out I am running 9.1
So if I need to do A complete reinstall how will I then get this if I
need it again?

Hi I have A small problem with window-eyes.
Every time it starts I get three beeps.
Kind of like the ones we used to get in version 8.4 from time to time
when it started.
I don't loose speech.
but just when window-eyes starts I get A high middle and low beep right
in A row.
So how do you correct this?
I don't see an error message or anything.
Just hear the three beeps and windows does load.
I have my window-eyes 9.0 disk.
Do you suggest reinstalling over the top of my current install and maybe
that will fix it?
Or just totally removing window-eyes and totally reinstalling it from
scratch.
Looking for help with this one.

I think the beeps are telling you that WE cannot communicate with the
display driver -- does this happen on bootup only or every time you
restart WE?
