It seems like the tool generates openstreetcam.com links which I can't
open. When I manually change .com to .org it works fine, Thanks for the

Brandify wrote they had their own database, which they got directly from
the companies.

I'm currently moving the objects to their actual position with streetlevel
imagery (where available).

[Talk-de] OpenGeoDB-Tags - entfernbar?

Hallo,

Mir ist schon öfters aufgefallen, dass durch ältere Importe (wie z.B.
TIGER) extrem viele und oft unnötige Tags hinzugefügt wurden. So scheint es
sich meiner Meinung nach auch bei den Tags des OpenGeoDB
-Imports, die man an
unzähligen place-Nodes in der DACH-Region findet, um Datenmüll zu handeln.

Vor etwa zehn Jahren gab es anscheinend noch regelmäßige Updates der Daten,
aber mittlerweile bringen diese Tags doch nichts mehr, oder? Dann sollte es
doch eigentlich kein Problem sein, sie von Orten seiner Region zu entfernen?

[Talk-de] Import von Gebäuden und Adressen aus dem spanischen Kataster

Hallo,

Auf Anfrage der spanischen Community wollte ich hier gerne ein wenig
Werbung für besagten Import machen.

Die Daten aus dem Kataster haben eine ziemlich hohe Qualität und beinhalten
neben den Gebäudeumrissen auch Details wie Stockwerke (mit building:parts)
sowie an den meisten Orten Adressen und die entsprechenden entrance= Nodes.
Trotzdem kann man die Daten natürlich nicht einfach in OSM klatschen,
weshalb wir auf der Suche nach weiteren Leuten sind, die uns beim
Validieren und Importieren behilflich sein könnten.
Dazu stehen uns übrigens auch zu jedem Gebäude ein Foto von der Fassade zur
Verfügung, mit der man alle Adressen genaustens überprüfen kann.
Momentan haben wir Projekte auf Menorca, auf Tenerifa, in Kantabrien und in
Andalusien, aber mit steigender Helferzahl werden da wahrscheinlich auch
mehr Regionen dazu kommen, Spanien ist groß. (Wenn ein paar deutsche Helfer
dazu kommen, wahrscheinlich auch Mallorca ... )

Also falls sich jemand angesprochen fühlt, kann er sich auf der Wikiseite
 erst
mal einen Überblick verschaffen und dann über den Tasking Manager
 am Import teilnehmen.

Me alegra ver que mi trabajo es tan apreciado que incluso se haga público.

En mi opinión la importación del catastro español es un gran
enriquecimiento para OSM, porque el catastro contiene datos de alta
calidad, que son muy difíciles de capturar para voluntarios (p.e. los
'building_levels' tags). Pero el problema es que la importación tomaría una
eternidad para toda España y por eso creo que necesitáis todos que pueden
ayudar un poco. Por el momento tengo mucho tiempo libre de todos modos,
porque estoy en la fase final de mis años escolares. :-)

Espero que mi español no sea tan malo, lo aprendí solo en la escuela.

Hello Mike,

I think that you have made the same mistake as they made with the
Tampa/Clearwater, FL Microsoft building data import: The height is given in
feet and inches, but you used metre scheme (x.y) instead of x'y". An
example:

This commercial building  is
never 16 meters tall as said in its height tag. (View on Mapillary
)
If you compare further buildings, you will see that this is applicable for
all others.

I hope you still can fix it, because the managers of the Florida import
didn't.

Hallo Joachim und Martin,

Naja, ob man es erfassen sollte, ist für mich eigentlich keine Frage, da
wir ja auch schon tags wie 'outdoor_seating', 'drive_through' und
'takeaway' verwenden. In 50 Jahren werden solche Tafeln vielleicht in jedem
Restaurant zu finden sein, aber momentan sind sie für mich noch eine
Seltenheit, die für das genaue Herausfiltern von Restaurants interessant
sein kann. Der Eine hat vielleicht gerne die Übersicht über seine
Bestellung an so einer Tafel, während der Andere doch lieber bei jemandem
hinter der Kasse bestellt.

Bei mir in der Gegend werden in letzter Zeit immer mehr Schnellrestaurants
(v.a. McDonald's) umgebaut und mit digitalen Bestelltafeln versehen
(siehe "Restaurant
der Zukunft ").
Gibt es für sowas denn schon ein Taggingschema à la 'drive_through=yes'
oder so etwas ähnliches?

Welche Challenge meinst du genau? Wenn es um die Blocks geht, die in dem
Video thematisiert werden: Die sind bereits gemappt, werden aber auf Carto
nicht gerendert.

Ich war mal dabei, Baden (und dann Württemberg) nach OHM zu exportieren.
Die Server von OHM bringen mich aber immer zur Weißglut, der Upload dauert
viel zu lange (wenn er überhaupt funktioniert). Irgendwann hab ich's dann
aufgegeben, aber vielleicht findet sich ja jemand, der meine Arbeit
fortsetzen will. Bevor die Grenzen nicht exportiert wurden, würde ich sie
aber auch noch nicht aus OSM löschen.
