Hi Allie,

On 03 May 2000 at 14:37:42 GMT -0500 (which was 20:37 where I
live) [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote and made these points on the subject
of "1.42 Beta/21 is now available":

[-] Invoking address view from a separate viewer window problem

The shortcut for address view shiftctrlO is broken.

I disagree. It still works for me *and* it's behaviour is now
corrected ISFA the correct entry is shown for the message currently
being looked at in a folder (esp. the virtual ticker folder instead of
the message currently selected in the main TB window).

 Downloading news messages

Now you *did* mean "new", didn't you? I haven't gone and missed USENet
support additions somehwere, have I? ;-).

to a folder with multiple colour groups leads to the colours
changing to the default in the Folder Views message listing.

.. and I still don't see *any* colours in the ticker virtual folder.

The present implementation offers better flexibility that your proposal
since it offers better user flexibility on the fly. IOW's, sometimes I
wish to open the URL in a separate window, and sometimes I wish to use the
same window. The Shift operator does this well. The shift operator is a
convention as well. If you click on a URL in Opera using the shift
operator, it opens the URL in a new window and it's the same for IE4 and
5. With a check-box, I'd have to be going into options and switching back
and forth to achieve the same effect.

I do just that with TBUDL and TBBETA messages when I send them. Each
message is given it's respective colour code with a filter and they are
kept right there in the outbox.

Create a filter rule in the "Outgoing Filter" section.

The source folder is the Outbox.

Your destination or 'Move to' folder is the "Sent" folder.

Adjust the filter to change the colour group and you should be fine. I
certainly am. :-)

Sorry. It was a hotkeys conflict. PowerBar uses similar shortcuts as
hotkeys. Disabling them cured the problem. :-) Sorry about the false
alarm. It was your disagreement that raised my awareness of a possible
application conflict. Thanks.

Hello Allie,

Can you allow user to change how to open new window. I have not working

You're right, but my shift button _DOESN'T WORK GOOD_ that's why, I
want click to open in _NEW WINDOWS_, but shift+click, will open in
existing. And this option user should able to select by himself.
That's all. Someone likes new window without shift, someone with. Let
everyone to use program like user wants.

No, it is not the thing I need. I have to add coloring to every
Outgoing Filter now instead of having just one which will change color
and leave the message for the rest of filters. It is not working good
with for Incoming filters either but at least the source and
destination are the same for them and the other filters are working
though the re-filtering doesn't. With Outgoing it doesn't work because
if I will set the destination as Outbox the messages will stick there
forever.

 you've understood it correctly :-)
however, after you've enabled this setting everywhere, you can change

On that note, is it just me, or is it odd that TB does *not* use the
"default" column setting by, *cough* default?
