I restored in the 3.0.1.33

Hi, NetVicious.

You need to get the new Russian translation for TB 3.0.9.

It's not a TB! bug. It's a LNG file problem.

Prompt then where to take Russian translation for 3.0.9

I certainly would but as you've offered I'll let you do the honours.

MB Tony's version is customized to us Winrar for compressing the zipped

It's just as easy to back up the RIT registry entries and then save the
whole TB directory to CD either unzipped or manually zipped up.

My batch file, which is actually Januks batch file does exactly that. It
backs up the reg entries, zips up the whole TB! directory and writes it to
CD well, SD flachcard here anyway.

And you don't need to reinstall fresh before restoring your backup, just
unzip it into Program Files, run the reg file and it's done. All you'll
need to do is create a new shortcut for it which is what would be done for
you should you install fresh first.

Just a comment about the universally liked script; if you have plugins
that don't install under the \The Bat! directory then if you restore
from the resulting file you'll not get all of the functionality you
expect.

I don't know if it's possible to get the path of all of the installed
plugins from somewhere but you can make sure that your plugins are
properly added to the archive by adding the relevant paths to the last
line of the script. So, for example, mine reads

C:\Progra~1\WinRAR\WinRAR.exe a -u -as C:\email\TBBackup.rar
C:\Program Files\The Bat! C:\Program Files\MyGate C:\Program
Files\Universal Macro Extender

Filtering out large received attachemnts

2005-04-07 Thread Richard Wakeford
Hello,

I know this can be done but can't for the life of me work out how. As I
am on a very slow dial up I am totally fed up with people who glibly
send me massive attachments (the latest being a grey scale jpg of a
newspaper page which I didn't want to see anyway) that take up almost an
hour to download because they can't be bothered to reduce them smaller
than the 10 Mgbyte that they scanned it at.

I would like to reject all messages with attachments over a certain size
from being downloaded but to leave them on the server so I can see who
they are from as The Bat! connection centre doesn't tell you who the
message is from until it's downloaded, and then it's 50 minutes too
late!

The one problem I can see is that The Bat! doesn't (I think) tell you
what messages are on the server unless you use the Dispatcher and I only
use it very rarely, preferring to just hit ALT F2.

TM Yes after reading again, i have to confirm that bug also...

Well I can't confirm it, I have both an icon on the Message Security
button and the PGP button. And they both change to a different icon upon
verification... Or not as the case may be.

Cntl+] from Folder View

2005-04-07 Thread Greg Strong
Hello TBBETA,

Cntl+] works from folder view when message list pane has focus,
however when the actual message has the focus then Ctrl+] does NOT
work.

My memory tells me it should work without regard to what has focus in
folder view.
