Hello Vili,

In the message list, I have the Folder as one of my columns.
I've just noticed that this contains useless info.
The attached file shows what I see. The correct folder is
 \\Bill\Spam.

If I add the Folder as one of my columns, that adds only the name of
 the account...

I have also noticed this in 3.61.14 (works fine in 3.61.13), but it may
be a different problem that what Bill reports (garbage).

You say that you only see the name of the account but, if you have
folders and sub-folders (several levels deep), you will see that the
*path* to the folder is what is displayed. It is just the name of the
folder what is missing. See the two attached GIFs.

My opinion. The beta testers are complaining about serious bugs here for
days and weeks now and Ritlabs is going to release a final version
 again.

I think I shouldn't have asked that question to raise this kind of

Correct. And I have already seen some bugs in BT reported as RESOLVED in

Constructive criticism can only last so long. Being asked to carry
out a specific task, in this case test beta software and report any
bugs, soon turns to frustration when you realize your efforts being
totally ignored. Hands up all those that have reported a bug version
beyond version ago that still exist today.

In short I'm annoyed, more than annoyed, I'm angry. Angry at the fact
something I like and love to use isn't progressing, it's getting less
stable with every new version.,

All I'm saying is, lets have a rock solid, free of all know bugs
version before adding new functions, before the next sub standard,
partially functional public release.

Surely your bored with seeing dozens of Not fixed or Still exists

The point is: if you release something that has a MAJOR flow,

Bug in SmartBat, storing toolbar location is not stored, v.3.62.01

2005-10-25 Thread Vili
Hello all,

Maybe it is a long bug, I just did not noted it:

https://www.ritlabs.com/bt/view.php?id=5229

Summary 0005229: SmartBat: Toolbar does not store its place

Description If you move the Toolbar in SmartBat (SB), e.g move it to
the center of the screen, you close it, open again, put back to its
original place, close SB, open again: toolbar is in the center of the
screen.

Steps To Reproduce 1. Open SmartBat (F6)
2. Move the toolbar to the center of the screen
3. Close SB
4. Open SB again, put back the toolbar its original place
5. Close SB
6. Open SB again: toolbar is in the center of the screen, not at its
original place

Please support it.

Re: The Bat! 3.62.01 is now available

2005-10-25 Thread Vili
Hello 9Val,

[-] (#0003862) subject with \ at the start could be displayed wrong
Confirmed as fixed.

[-] (#0004776) An error with decoding some base64-encoded fields of a VCF file
Cannot check.

[-] (#0004575) Message priority was omitted during redirect
Confirmed as fixed.

[-] (#0005212) Reply without quotation was not working
Confirmed as fixed.

[-] (#0005210) Date selector was not displayed in the SmartBat
It is half-fixed: all I can see in that box is: Monday, Octo. And
I cannot set the width of that date selector box.

Also, see https://www.ritlabs.com/bt/view.php?id=5229 , I wrote an
other mail to the list and a BT

[-] (#0005202) Changing of editor format was not immediately shown in the
 status bar
Confirmed as fixed.

[-] (#0005215) Folders with national characters in names were displayed wrong
I dont have Chinese folders :) Yet :)

[-] (#0004848) Messages without character set stated in headers were not
 displayed right on IMAP
It seems, this BT was closed a while ago...

[-] (#0005214) CRLFs were not translated in label in Maintenance Centre
Confirmed as fixed.

[-] (#0005213) It was not possible to use quick search in folder panes
Confirmed as fixed.

[-] (#0005224) VF names incorrectly displayed in folder tree
Half-fixed: I have
* %Name *
set at Options, Preferences, general. If I make a new VF folder, with
name X, it will be shown as:
[X]

So, the template (* %Name *) will not be enforced. Added this note to
the BT report. Please support it.

[-] (#0005218) messages sent via Simple MAPI were not using default
 account settings on encryption/signing
Cannot check.

[-] (#0005223) Wrong folder name was displayed in the message list's Folder
 column
Confirmed as fixed.

[-] (#0005221) Message List Columns not stored
Confirmed as fixed.

[-] (#0005190) Copying text from Delivery/reading report caused AV Error
Confirmed as fixed.

[-] Base64 and QP were mixed up at the Account Properties - Mail Management
 page
I did not know about it...

[-] Headers with MIME-encoded words were incorrectly decoded
Confirmed as fixed.

[-] Ticker hasn't saved column settings
It seems to me that it is fixed...

[-] (#0005220, Vili) AV when opening SmartBat
Confirmed as fixed.
Note: when tried 3.61.14, it lost my pads other than the base pad. Now
I had to add New Pad, and select the text files that store my other
notes to be able to see them in SmartBat, again. I think, users with
published version will not experience this loss.

[-] (#0005219 and some others, Vili)#0 chars at the end of mime-decoded
 headers
Confirmed as fixed, at me. I tried my problematic mails and Melanie's
problematic header lines, too.

I use the scheduler to do back-ups, compress folders etc. I haven't
changed anything in awhile so I don't know when this started. I go to

and then click on the Actions tab. In the box where it is supposed to
tell what action is being taken, it has Chinese characters and blanks.
There are two action boxes, it happens in both of them.

switched to the TBOT folder and had the same problem (no scroll bar,
not all unreads displayed). I switched back to TBBETA folder, no

scroll bar mysteriously reappeared and I could scroll and see all my

See the difference in the 2nd line? It was transcoded... :(

So TB! takes out the _ if encoded with quoted-printable, and put _ if
=5F codes the underscore

But: it SHOULD not take out the underscores... Using =5F as the
underscore is OK in QP coding.

Hello Peter,
one of my really simple filters matches the recipient address and places
the message in a separate folder.
This filter works flawlessly since ages.
A few minutes ago I received a message to that address and went reading it.
While reading, TB checked the account for new messages and received another
message to that address - which I found placed in the INBOX!
Has anybody seen filter not working while reading messages in a new 'View

Why not releasing 3.61.15 beta with the changes and then the msi?

Easy. The Msi it's done by Maxim, and it seems 9Val don't insert all
the changes in the msi version.

If it's so easy, that the lef Ritlabs hand doesn't know what the other
does, then all of my doubts about this software and the company are
obsolete ;-)))

Hello Peter,

V It seems like a plugin problem for me. Could you check starting TB!
V without plugins?
Ah! Good hint! Yesterday I installed AGAVA Antispamservant Plugin for
 testing purposes. Thanks.

Was it the cause of AVs?
