I meant to convey why I hadn't waited a long time before I decided it wasn't doing what it should. I guess I'm expressing myself about as well as when I tried to suggest to Mica the other day that even native English speakers may know some big words. Oh, dear! I didn't mean to imply that I thought you thought I was making demands on your time!! (Howzat for great sentence construction?!!) I just was trying to express a little sympathy for you as a person in the workaday world of trying to fit Bat-testing into the context of earning a living. The perils of text-only communication, when even emoticons can't flesh out the lack of facial expressions. :( Anyway, I hope *that* part's settled now. (And I thought what you said in the TBOT thread was quite clear and amusing! I frequently make mental typos like that myself, and sometimes we can even see them in posts from others on TBOT. stating the obvious here ;) ) Anyhow, I ran the same search, and stopped it, then went to an unread message and waited for it to load (IMAP). Instead of instant response I waited 1 minute 40 seconds for it to appear, which I assume was the time it took for the stop to happen. My search was on text in an IMAP folder (only one IMAP folder) which contained about 2600 messages. I hope this will be another clue for the development team, when they have time to have a look at why Stop doesn't immediately stop a search for some people. Having a look at your png, I guess in those single folders (which do not show their size) there are no messag files. collapsed folders will not show any size at all, I have that behaviour over here in my own common folders anyway. My guess is, only the sizes of TB's message diles are shown, not the overall size of a gicen folder in my hirarchy, That doesn't bother me at all, as I do not use my mesdsage base for other storage. Re: TB 3.73 Unable to send 6mB attachment Solved
By unloading TrendMicro PC-cillin Firewall/Antivirus, the transfer of 9 mb went smooth and quite fast. The Firewall, when running, didn't have Outbound Antivirus checking enabled yet the PC-cillin restricted throughput. I have emailed details to the programmers as I am beta testing Villi: sorry for the bother. -- Regards, Robert D. :flag-us-ky: _ The Bat! Based on testing that I did, none of them is related to the problem. -- Best regards, Costas Current beta is 3.73 rc 1 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html IMPORTANT: To register as a Beta tester, use this link first - http://www.ritlabs.com/en/partners/testers/
