You need to add the macro %QBODY to your quick reply template. This macro
represents the text you entered into the quick reply pane. Add that macro
at that spot where you want the text to appear.
You might also want to use the macro %QTO. It represents the recipient

As expected RITlabs can't do it right, can it? When they went with a
near-subscription model asking us for money once a year, people didn't
like it. They switch back to pay per version AND are rather generous
with what counts as one version AND don't just change version numbers
every 9-12 months as certain other companies - and again it doesn't
 fit what users want.

Fair is fair! I couldn't remember what was the last time I paid Ritlabs so I

on 15/12/2008(*). Today is 14/04/2012! This is 3 years and 4 months for 28
euros (this is the upgrade price
for Pro version, VAT included).

It's about 9 EUR/year, so it's not just a good deal, it's a killer deal!

(*) V3 was published on 09/2004 so 4 years for increase version number (**) is
habitual for Ritlabs :)

(**) I didn't write major version because many times Ritalbs had given us
major new features with just a
minor version bump. This is also habitual for Ritlabs :)

I remember an e-mail that informed us that v4 had already the new interface to

I don't remember the e-mail where you informed us that you 've ditched the

Are you going to introduce it at some point or not? (Don't get me wrong, I'm
perfectly happy with the existing interface however TB tends to be

The problem maybe lays where TB tries to import the clipboard. These are the

CRITICAL Problem with v4.0.26.5 and MS Exchange

2008-08-04 Thread George M. Menegakis
Hello,

Today I noticed on my work computer that the responces I wrote to varius
e-mails stay on the outbox instead of being sent. The bat told me that mail
was not send and see the log for details.

 04/08/2008, 12:44:39: SEND - sending mail message(s) - 1 message(s) in queue
04/08/2008, 12:44:40: SEND - connected to the Exchange server
MAILSRV.XX.gr as user menes
 04/08/2008, 12:44:40: SEND - connection finished - 0 message(s) sent
04/08/2008, 12:44:40: SEND - Some messages were not sent - check the log for
details

However reverting to 4.0.26.4 solved the problem. The queued mail was
succesfully sent, so there is something smelly in the latest version.

Anyone can confirm it in order to open a BT entry?

There is no CSAPI here but up to alpha 12 there was. So there is definitely

Now v4 with many great features is offered free and if not something fancy

By adding few gradients you don't make a totally new program as stated in
the announcement. Not that I have a problem with the current interface but
the changes were not radical, as expected by the announcement.

4.1 will be a paid update for the users of v3, nothing extraordinary.

I fail to follow. If nothing extraordinary is added then why is there any
need to upgrade from 3.xx, 4.0 to 4.1 ?

I really don't get your policy, guys.

I mean the new editor, the url manager the new search and some other fancy
functionality (like html templates) would be a very good reason to upgrade.

Don't get me wrong, I will upgrade to 4.1 just to support you but if you
don't make something fancy I don't think that many people will follow!

The announcement seems to be quite misleading. People will expect something
radical or else I fail to see any good reason (except for supporting you) for
upgrading to 4.1.

Any thoughts on when we will see a test version with the Spell Checker
 in place?

 Thanks!

 Jerry

Hello,

I have seen other messages about spell checker, but here it works like a
charm both for English and Greek!

Also confirmed here. Probably it has to do with OTFP. :(

This is a very interesting feature however it doesn't seem to work correctly.

1. If I you choose an account and its subfolders and then another folder on
other account you get an AV error (this is minor, just unselect the account
root)

2. There are persons I interact with but on the message history appear empty.
That includes but its not limited to persons that I exchange big volumes of
e-mails where either I'm direct recepient or sender or I'm or he/she's in the
CC of the e-mails.

can You please describe more what You did? I am unable to reproduce AVs.

Unfortunately I cannot reproduce it always. Some times happens some times not.
For example it now just happened when I choose all folders of an account by
pressing Control + The account name.

---
The Bat!
---
Access violation at address 00405BA8 in module 'thebat.exe'. Read of address
0021.

OK

However If i uncheck the account name from the folders no AV is generated.

did You used Search messages from/to this person?

Yes I did. An though i was in a folder with messages only from/to this person
the bat could find nothing. Furthermore the setting folder to scan is not
honoured. Though I have select a list of folders, on the progress box appear
on the right bottom corner it shows that Bat scans all folders. Btw, the
folder I was into was selected.

For the time being the history is not to be trusted in general. To make it
work, I purged all history and do the scan on need basis. Then it works. If
I made a mass scan it stop working for some contacts.

That means that V4 is near on the horizon. However we have yet to see a beta
for v4 and its supposedly extensive changes (in interface and macros).

Ok, now I'm officially confused. Is there any worthy changes to justify the
jump from 3.99.25 to 4.00? If yes what are those and when will be tested? If
no why release a 4.0 and later a 4.1 instead of finalizing the changes/test
them and release a 4.0 ?
