Re: Voyager 64bit

2020-11-16 Thread John Schmid
Hi Stefan,

I installed the test version this morning, re-enabled HTML rendering in the
preview window, and haven't had a rendering-releated crash so far. I tested on
messages that reliably crashed Voyager on Friday and they did not cause a crash.

I did get a crash when I switched themes from Automatic to Classic. After
restarting Voyager once more I was able to switch to the Classic theme without
a crash.

I'll run with this version for the next few days and let you know what happens.

Thank you,

John

What happens is that any open Voyager windows will vanish. Nine times out of

Another change I notice in Voyager 8.2.4.3 is that, in the message
list pane, the From: information isn't displaying correctly for
messages from Yahoo Groups.

Messages from Google Groups display properly in the message list pane.

The From column used to display the name or e-mail address of the
sender of the message. Now it displays the name of the group. For
example:

Pre-Voyager 8: Jane Smith em...@company.com

In Voyager 8: yahoogroupn...@yahoogroups.com

The full header is "Jane Smith em...@company.com [YAHOO GROUP NAME]"

Is there any, near-term, chance of getting a release of Voyager for version 8?
