This may be user trouble but this just started with a fresh install of the last version I reply to an HTML mail and it does it in the plain text editor All the templates for the account are set to HTML The HTML viewers are HTML/Plain text. I also have one folder template that was working correctly and reverted to this behavior until I used the seteditor macro Anyone else having this issue? I have to do that on occasion on Win 8 - it won't shut down and I have to kill it with TM TIP: If you ever get the splash screen and the bat will go no further, shut it down, clear the cache (and img folder although that might not be needed) Then run it as administrator. I use ALT+SHIFT+ the arrow keys. You may have to move it out to the same level, then maneuver it up (or down) to below the destination account, then move it in. IMAP may be the issue with you. I CAN do that with POP account folders. I am not sure why you want to move IMAP account folders, but VIRTUAL folders may be a good way to view messages together -- Rick You control our world. I hope RIT can fix this soon as I can now see how much SPAM I'm getting because I have to filter it manually. It didn't seem quite so bad when TB! was doing it for me. I use anti spam sniper plugin and was having a lot of false positives. SPV Like my browsers, TB! does not print background colors or images SPV when it prints HTML formatted messages. Unfortunately, unlike SPV my browsers, TB! doesn't seem to be smart enough to print WHITE SPV text as BLACK when it does this. As a result, an email I printed SPV today was almost entirely blank because the moron who sent it SPV assumed that it would print the way a normal browser would print SPV it (I assume.) SPV It may be that I'm just not smart enough to find the appropriate SPV setting in TB! and if that is true, PLEASE tell me where I tell SPV TB! to render WHITE HTML text as BLACK. I also didn't find an SPV option to tell TB! to print the background color or image, either, SPV which could make the white text visible by wasting lots of ink SPV and/or toner. Virtual Folders keep disappearing
I have had this problem constantly (but randomly) since moving to windows 8 x64 I will create several common virtual folders and they disappear. I have not been able to pin it down as to whether or not it may only be shutting down and opening the program, changing login profiles or rebooting. The files ARE in the database. If I use control+alt+shift+L they come back as regular folders, which of course is useless. Cannot confirm. Picked all options and all of my folders. Most time was used checking my main account (5 GB pop3)maintenance flew through my imap accounts, took hardly any time, even though the biggest had a 4 GB cache. You are correct. I MANUALLY compacted my folders one by one and then ran it. There are 2 IMAP accounts and it ran through them slowly, but it did complete. This seems to be new behavior for me. 4 tries including 2 reboots ... The maintenance center stops after deleting duplicates and goes no further. I cannot see the To header, even though it is selected (see TF attached screenshot). TF Any confirmations? I am on win8 and there is no flapping but as far as the to: header I had a similar problem Open a message and see if all the fields are there From, To, CC. BCC. TF Restarted the computer, problem persists. Did you try UNchecking the TO header, closing the bat, opening again and re checking it? I had a similar problem and did SOMETHING like this to fix it. I'm not sure, but is this not WAD. I thought the All Mail folder was a virtual folder that just displays what is in other directories (in a gmail kind of way). If you delete original mail does it go away? No - and it is only the ALL MAIL folder. SPAM and TRASH delete and compress correctly. No certain suggestions!! However I do know that TB does not always behave consistently, sometimes when one makes a setup change it will be accepted immediately but at other times one has to restart TB to get a change to start operating. What I am going to shy should not be true, however ... I have found that after replacing a new beta EXE, I never report problems until after a system reboot, which make some initial errors disappear. If I have the global setting for QR turned on, but the setting for a particular folder as 'Always hide', then any VF watching that folder does not display a QR. Well I just checked it and it is intermittent. The VF had the window even when I clicked off it and went back. I'm fairly discouraged with today's events, but my hat's off to you, Rick, for helping me. I'm glad that helped. I am in a LOT of Yahoo groups and run it through a gmail account. If the account gets full it will just stop sending and receiving mail - no warnings, no errors. Inline Graphics disappear when forwarding multiple messages to one user
If you pick a couple of messages with inline graphics and open them in separate editor window, the graphics are in the emails correctly.
