Re: Can't send mail !!!
Hi anderson, I'm trying to try (!) The Bat! v1.44 but it doesn't send my mail. It says: "Server reports error: The response is: Invalid domain name" I purposefully changed my smtp server to an invalid name, the error message TB reported was "Could not connect to the server", not "Invalid domain name". Judging from the error message, the error was given by your server. I.e., your server refused to send your mail because of invalid domain in maybe your From or To address. -- Best regards, Ming-Li Using The Bat! 1.45 S/MIME under Win2k -- -- View the TBBETA archive at http://tbbeta.thebat.dutaint.com To send a message to the list moderation team double-click HERE: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] To Unsubscribe from TBBETA, double-click HERE: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] -- You are subscribed as : archive@jab.org

Probably something TheBat! is adding to the message header is causing the problem. As I said before, other e-mail clients work OK. Also, when I use XRay mail filter (it filters mail after it leaves TheBat! and before it gets sent to the server) everything is fine. Thanks for the message. Well, other e-mail clients work fine with my ISP, so the problem lies between TheBat! and my ISP. Or, the way TheBat! handles e-mails when they are sent to the smtp server. Mind you that when I filter the message sent (through mail filter software, like XRay, for instance), everything is OK. Actually, it doesn't filter anything.
