when that message is marked as read.

FW I did. Meanwhile I was able to have the same behaviour here. Here it
FW only happend when the message is not only the latest in that folder,
FW but also the latest unread message into TheBat!.

FW Even if there is another unread message in a different account, TB
FW will filter and jump to that message.

FW Could you confirm?

No I cannot confirm.

Here, it still behaves as I described in the Bugtraq. I cannot test with
another account because I have only one. It will move to another folder
containing an unread message but the last message in the previous folder
remains where it is, marked as 'read' but not moved to an archive as the
'Read' filter would do *if* it had been triggered correctly.

Marking the last message in a folder as read, by some method other than the
space-bar short-cut, results in the 'Read' filter acting correctly.

Thanks for your interest and testing. Please just check everything again to
see if the behaviour at your end really is different from my end.

This has been around for several years and remains the same in every
version. For my usage it is a constant pain! :-\

FW I just tried it, and everything works like expected. What about your
FW setting's in the preferences?

2008-03-07 Thread Vili
It was there with the first v4. I use Full window mode, it is more
apparent there. I thought it is not a biggy. Guys at Ritlabs should
maybe set the Visible property of the container to False until
the alignment is done, and set True after that.
Certainly, and as you say, it is not a biggy. But as I only noticed
today, I was wondering if it was a problem local to me.

No, definitely not.

This is especially irritating, since TheBat takes AGES on my machine
 to shutdown (https://www.ritlabs.com/bt/view.php?id=6831)
I am sorry, but I am getting kind of frustrated because of the fact
this last issue seems to be ignored by the devteam. I did not even
get a conformation for the issue...

Maybe we should just make new and new BT reports with this... After
like 100 BT reports about this issue somebody would listen. :)

For me, as a POP3 user, this is the most irritating error :(
