Hello Maxim,

U&R with me.

> [!] Quick reply in the main window

Ctrl+Enter inserts a line break instead of sending the message. Hitting the
"send" button does it though.
I am missing a quick way to show/hide the quick reply pane (a cross
directly on it, something in View menu or the QR pane context menu). Thew
only way as for now seems that in the Settings area.

Yes, that is the settings dialog then. But it's 2 levels deeper than would
be nice, and when the pane is hidden, you again need to go to
Settings/Preferences, find the right section etc.

Agreed, but one needs some such method to re-display the QR window if one
has removed it.

In any case I am still inclined to use the normal reply method as I am doing
now, complete with past text and a signature etc.

You can set a template for the quick reply in account properties. All the
usual macros are available there. The only thing to take care of is that
you insert the macro "%QBODY" in your template at that place where you want the

that promptes me to a question: what is the sense of the QR anyway? As I
see it, it saves the user exactly one Ctrl+Enter (that starts a reply
dialog today) and adds complexity & hassle.

I'd be really interested on the size of the wishbase such eye-candy functions
have that
keep the author/s from fixing much more basic flaws.

Had some odd problems with this one.
Close TB, ran the install, afterwards TB told me it was v 5.1.6.15 or
something like that, even though I was using 5.3.1.0 before the
install. (I know that's an odd way to 'upgrade' but I saw that
notification first.)
My control panel mentioned v 5.2.2
Uninstalled TB
Installed 5.2.2 again and things seem ok.

Does not work over here. Ctrl-Enter inserts a new line in the message,
no send.

When pushing "Send" Button the message which arrives has no text - or

Is there something wrong using IMAP or how do you work? POP3 is kinda
outdated, IMAP is the future.

And Ritlabs manged it to never get IMAP working 100% over the years. Not
many companies get this done as perfect as Ritlabs.
