Re: Lists that don't overwrite the Reply-To header
Hi Chris, CW Is there some functionality of The Bat! that will help me when it CW comes to mailing lists that don't replace the reply-to header with the CW list's address? CW Is there some sort of options that can be toggled or a template that CW can be used. CW If I remember correctly, pine (a CLI-based IMAP client) would ask me CW whether I wanted to reply to the sender or the list. One thing I've done is to include the Reply-To: field in the headers, so that I can edit it when creating a reply. I set this by right-clicking in the headers area. That shows a context menu, listing the various headers with a check mark for what should be visible. That's so manual, I doubt it's what you're looking for 8/ I'm uncertain if this helps, since its more focused on ListServs/groups than mailing lists.? Things which can be separated by filters. I've created a folder called ListServs. I think its a Common Folder; its at the same hierarchy level as the Inboxes, not under them. Then, I have folders under ListServs for each group and filters, which sort the messages into those folders, right? So I've got like: \\\ListServs \\\ListServs\TheBat \\\ListServs\EurForum etc. Each of those folders has their own Properties dialog, with an Identity tab. And that's the trick I'm using. I set the Reply-To info for the folder/ListServ/Group from the Identities tab on a per-group basis. Not sure how that will interact with the various templates. -- HTH, David Win][k sp4 TheBat 3.0 Current version is 3.80.06 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

I would assume it issues a DEL command for the UID, and if that doesn't work, it could mean that Orange doesn't handle the DEL command correctly. But I wonder why you care. GMX also deletes messages on server after 60 days (the free accounts; paid-for account can store them forever), and TB won't download them again, so I have no problem if they stay there for some time. Hello Granville, On Mon, 4 Sep 2006 you wrote in mid:[EMAIL PROTECTED] GC I run K9 on my computer and it works fine. Can anyone think a a GC solution to this problem with Orange? Maybe I can help. I used to use SpamPal and it was very satisfactory but I read about AntispamSniper and that it could be used with Voyager as well so thought I'd give it a try. There's a free and registered version. I tried the free one and registered within a day as it was so good and so easy to set up. With the registered version you have the option to check for spam on the server, on the server and TB! or just on TB!. Originally I just did it on TB! but, after reading about your (and my) problem with Orange of which I had no idea, I decided to retry the server side checking which meant that I could delete all Spam on the server. It took an absolute eternity as it reads messages in blocks of 20 and then thinks about them for ages before dealing with them and moving on to the next 20 so you can reckon on your TB! connection being totally tied up for about 7 minutes per 100 messages. However, after that first check, it then only has to check with any new messages so is obviously very quick indeed. The advantage of this is that you can set AntispamSniper to delete messages higher than any score you want. I have mine set at 75 and there are very few messages that get past that to the Junk Mail folder. Since I started using it about 3 months ago I've only had a couple of false negatives and that was right at the beginning. -- Regards, Richard | The Bat! 3.81.18 RC2. I simply installed v. 3.85.01 over my current (beta) 3.81.18--which was the beta rar for the 3.80.06 msi install. And I was good to go. My registration number was automatically entered. We had to pay for the upgrade (at a discount) from the 2.xx series to the 3.xx series. I expect that when and if 4.xx comes along, there'll be an upgrade charge then. Problems Restoring Email
Howdy, I am having problems installing my email. I recently had to re-install XP. I did a full account backup on the 30th August. I recieved a new computer yesterday. I installed the latest version and The Bat and restored all my email. The problem is that The Bat won't download all my email since the 30th. Only what I have received today.
