Filter questions/problems
Hello TBUDL, I have some questions and a problem concerning the NFS. First a problem: Recently I upgraded from v2.12 to v3.0 (I never used beta versions). Now I suspect the conversion of my old filters to the NFS went not as it should. It seems some messages get filtered based on a rule which I already altered before the upgrade. I cannot verify which filter rule it uses, it concerns a Read messages filter and apparently these aren't logged. Has anybody else had problems like this? Or other filter conversion problems? This leads to my second question: The incoming mail filter actions are logged in the account log. But is it not possible to log all the other kinds of filter actions (read, sent, etc.) as well? I am using The Bat! about 4.5 years now and my filter collection has become quite large. Sometimes I am puzzled which filter it is using, then a logfile would be helpful. Third question (also about the NFS): When using Address groups in a filter rule, is manually typing the name of the group the only way to select it? In the old filter system you could just select it from a dialog box. And what if I want to select multiple groups? Do I type Group1+Group2 or Group1,Group2 or ... ? Lot of questions... I hope you can help me. -- Best regards, Sander van den Berg :nlflag: The Bat! v3.0 Windows XP Service Pack 1 Current version is 3.00.00 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
