When I applied service pack 1, ZoneAlarm broke and I stopped using it. We were later informed of a patch being available to fix the SP1 issue which I and others installed. Problem fetching mail.
-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE- Hash: SHA1 Hello. I am a new user of The Bat! so I do not know if this problem has been discussed on this list before. If so I hope that you will forgive that and maybe point me in to a place where I can find the solution. The problem is that I have trouble fetching mail. When I start my PC and The Bat! everything seems OK, but after a while I can't fetch more mail. The connections just times out with an error-message: "FETCH - Could not connect to server." (I think that is it.) If I then exit The Bat! and restart it again I can check my mail from one of the accounts one time, but no more. Then I get the problem again. It seems to crop up after I have been surfing the net for a while or reading news. I am using Using The Bat! v1.51 on Windows NT 5.0 Build 2195 Service Pack 1. I use IE5.5 as a browser and XNews v4.01.30 for news. I hope you can help me with this as if not I have just wasted $35 paying for software I can't use. That reminds me that the problem also seems to have appeared after I registered the program as I did not have any of these problems in the trial-period. I have formatted my HD and reinstalled Win2K and The Bat! but it did not help. I have also downloaded all the Security fixes, upgrades and compatibility stuff that Microsoft provides on their Windowsupdate site. Hope anybody can help me with this problem as I am stuck.
