I did that and the common folders weren't deleted. I could
delete the junk folder and then the three copies reflected in the
common folders disappeared. But, still couldn't delete the three empty
common folders.

Presumably that was introduced since I allocated all my folders to
colour groups with dark backgrounds. At least, I don't remember
noticing the underline before (-;

Further to my previous message...

Independently of icons, accounts are underlined and common folders
aren't. Correct?

I have taken another look at the screenshot Richard provided and they
are all underlined. But then, Richard has looked at Properties and they
seem to be common folders. I must admit I'm getting lost.

I am sorry but I don't use AntiSpamSniper, so I can't even try to
reproduce the problem.

Maybe you can try something, but it is up to you to do it. Remove
AntiSpamSniper plugin and then try to delete the folders. I can't think
of anything else at the moment.

Thanks for your clarifying 2p. With so many icons available I don't
understand why they have to be identical.

That message was after the picture. The unnamed common folders were
reflecting the contents of the common junk folder (created by
AntiSpamSniper). When I delete the contents of the junk folder, the
contents of the junk folder under the common folders is also deleted.
If I delete the junk folder, then the three common folders still
remain without a way to delete.

Good idea. And, there is no listed folder for the common folders only
"Common Folders Preferences." The common junk folder does point to a
Junk folder which is in the default directory as "$JUNK$".

Although the + sign indicates they have sub-folders. The messages
could be in those, maybe?

Did that and I could eliminate the Trash folder but not the

OK, I "get the picture" now. I wonder why Delete is greyed out.

I've been creating/moving/deleting common folders for a while and I
couldn't get to a situation where Delete is greyed out. I'll keep trying
later.

Can you send me the picture you tried to send as an attachment to the

Also, do your common folders exist in your MAIL directory on disk? If
so, have you tried deleting them from disk?

It deleted what was a common "junk" folder and left me with a

disappeared.
