Message editor bottom status bar (v4)
Hello, The new status bar at the bottom of the edit mail window will selectively remove items as the window is narrowed. Does anyone know if there's a way to force some of these to stay? TheBat seems to have different priorities than me! In particular it's the active account that I like to see all the time. Hi all, This never happened to me before. The little status line at the bottom of my screen has disappeared. Status bar, twice
One question, and a request: 1. When you compose a message, there is a sort of status bar smack at the bottom of the message. Currently mine says: 1.7 Modified Stream Insert [icon] kspaink Latin-1 I understand most of them, but not all: - 1.7[now 9.10] marks the cursor on the character:line axis - Modified: yes, I changed the contents ;-) - Stream:no idea. By clicking on it, it changes to 'column'or 'line'. Ah, editing commands, fine. - Insert:overwrite disabled; if you click, it switches - kspaink: the active account - latin-1: the current character set. The one that baffles me is the small icon. When I open a new message or reply to mail, it is a minuscule TB icon (in the shape of a stamp). Clicking it once changes it into a minuscule exclamation mark (yellow on a red stamp) and clicking it once more changes it into a down arrow (white on a blue stamp). Any ideas as to their meaning? 2. When you have a Folder View window open, the Windows status bar icon for it says "View Folder [folder name]. I'd much rather do without the "Folder View" and just have it say "[folder name]" -- that way, you can have a few folders open and one glance at the task bar tells you which one is which. Is this a suggestion for the developpers? - K - -- You will find me if you want me in the garden unless it's pouring down with rain - Einstürzende Neubauten: The Garden -- -- View the TBUDL archive at http://tbudl.thebat.dutaint.com To send a message to the list moderation team double click here: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] To Unsubscribe from TBUDL, double click here and send the message: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] -- You are subscribed as : archive@jab.org
