This takes me to the the item in the webmail showing: From, Subject and Size, where I can choose to Receive it or to Delete it. As a test, I ticked the box and then set my wife's "Receive header only if message is greater than:" to 12000KB. I then composed an email of about 18MB in size and sent it to her. She was able to receive all her other messages at that fetch along with an "email" from TB. The TB "email" told her that she had a message on the server that exceeded her preset. So, if she ever gets any more very large emails TB won't choke on them and she will be able to receive any other emails present during that particular fetch. Can't change template font
Hello TBUD Listers, I thought all my questions regarding templates were resolved weeks ago after the thread I started then. Alas, it was not to be. As you can see in this message, my sig is in Times New Roman while the salutation is in Courier New. Apparently I created this situation years ago when I first started using TB and now I can't fix it. I have gone to the other template locations and blanked them out while keeping the TB NEW MESSAGE entry in the AB. I have the "Use a specific template for new messages" box ticked, and have proven that that template is the one used for new messages to this list. I have even tried re-typing the TNR text (using plain text) and actually saw the font revert to TNR after a carriage return. I have typed the entire template in NOTEPAD, copied it and then pasted it into a blank NEW MESSAGE template only to have the sig again revert to TNR. I have copied the entire template text and pasted it into a little utility called Tiny Hexer so I could look for hidden formatting characters but there were none. I got your message as plain text, so I can't see the fonts you use while composing. In preferences I set the font to Lucida sans, so I see this in Lucida. You cannot assign a font to a plain text template, it will always use the font you defined in options/preferences/viewer/profile layout. Hope that helps -- Regards, Feli:de-bb: The Bat! Moving from Win7 to Win8.1
Hi, my old laptop is at the end of its useful life, and the new one will be Windows 8.1. What's the easiest way to move TB and the database over to my new computer? Install TB on new pc, copy database over, and hope for the best? :) >From what I've read, the registry file should also be saved and installed on the new pc, but I'm not sure if that should be done when moving to a different OS. It's a guided procedure. I keep this in Dropbox and also Google Drive. I also went from Windows 7 to 8 (upgraded to 8.1). In the new computer, download/install The Bat! and then Tools-Restore.
