[Touch-packages] [Bug 1567382] [NEW] Keyboard doesn't disappear
Public bug reported: UBUNTU RELEASE: Ubuntu Touch OTA 10 PACKAGE VERSION: 14.04 DESCRIPTION: After opening messaging-app to reply to a message, I clicked on the microphone button to record audio and a pop-up dialog appeared stating that the messaging-app was requesting access to the microphone. EXPECTED: To be able to allow access to the microphone and continue composing message. OCCURRED: Only the top half of the dialog was visible since the keyboard was still displayed on screen. After pressing the "home" button on my Meizu MX4, I was taken back to the app selection scope but the keyboard was still displayed. I then locked the phone and unlocked to see if this would cause the keyboard to disappear but, after 10 minutes since the problem occurred, the keyboard is still displayed on the lock screen. ** Affects: messaging-app (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to messaging-app in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1567382 Title: Keyboard doesn't disappear Status in messaging-app package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: UBUNTU RELEASE: Ubuntu Touch OTA 10 PACKAGE VERSION: 14.04 DESCRIPTION: After opening messaging-app to reply to a message, I clicked on the microphone button to record audio and a pop-up dialog appeared stating that the messaging-app was requesting access to the microphone. [Touch-packages] [Bug 1398614] Re: mediascanner-service-2.0 using large amounts of CPU
Every time I plug in my external 1TB HDD this process consumes up to 101.8%(!) of my CPU and prevents me from doing anything on the computer unless I physically turn off the HDD. I thought that after its first scan data is cached? Instead, the issue appears to be ongoing for me. I'm currently using Ubuntu 14.10 LTS and I haven't purged the package since I use the Ubuntu SDK and apparently the "mediascanner-service" package is a dependency? Absolutely abominable programming, whoever released this into the wild needs to be spoken to, urgently. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to mediascanner2 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1398614 Title: mediascanner-service-2.0 using large amounts of CPU Status in mediascanner2 package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: Each time I plug my external USB hard disk the mediascanner-service process is activ and is using large amount of CPU for long minutes without interruption. [Touch-packages] [Bug 1497932] [NEW] More Convenient Message Forwarding
Public bug reported: I am looking to be able to forward messages whilst within the messages for a single contact (using swipe gesturing, if possible) rather than copying and pasting the message to be forwarded into a new message that is to be sent to the intended recipient. On a related point, it may be useful to add the ability to forward multiple messages simultaneously by adding a "Forward" option to the available actions after selecting one or more messages in a particular conversation. ** Affects: messaging-app (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to messaging-app in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1497932 Title: More Convenient Message Forwarding Status in messaging-app package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: I am looking to be able to forward messages whilst within the messages for a single contact (using swipe gesturing, if possible) rather than copying and pasting the message to be forwarded into a new message that is to be sent to the intended recipient.
